Very good game for all lovers of HoMM

I just love the Heroes games

[h1]An odd middle-expansion, but still the high Heroes V quality[/h1] For some reason, this expansion was not patched as much as the main game after the last expansions release. Which means threat level / the game sugesting if the enemy is easy, normal, or hard to beat is not present. However, this expansion does have caravans between your unit buildings and your cities, which is much appreciated. Secondly, the story feels very much like it just stops in the middle without delivering a narrative conclussion to a specific arch, as the final boss is not really an important antagonist to any of the characters involved. So you need at least the final expansion, Tribes of the East, to feel a sense of satisfaction from a story perspective. Thirdly, new "Red Haven" units are introduced, but you cannot recruit them in this, as that is first something you are able to do in the next expansion, leaving them in an odd situation in this one. Those points being made. This product is still great. The characters you play as are all likeable. There is a solid sense of identity for all the factions and the units. In fact it includes two of my favorite Heroes V characters, Wulfstan (new to this game) and Freyda (had a side-character role in the main game). Note: Playtime is just my play-time on Steam/one playthrough. I have played this series offline with a physical copy through the years.
