GAME DOES NOT WORK ON LINUX OR STEAM DECK !!! Tested it with all the Proton version and no luck. So basically it is Ubisoft that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up again and not including the right DLL file. Funnily enough the "Horn of the Abyss" team added the DLL with an update the day after release and now everything just works, but I guess that Ubisoft cannot be bothered. says a lot when they also forgot the whole game other than an .exe file UBISOFT, FIX THIS ♥♥♥♥ NOW!

不是说源代码丢失了吗，买高清版的算是小丑呗，还没有中文汉化，就不能去论坛下个中文版的。虽然是好游戏但是不推荐入手。

安装好HoMM3_HD_5.8和汉化补丁，然后用HoMM3_HD创建Heroes3_HD.exe改名为Heroes3.exe（原版Heroes3.exe最好备份一下）。 这样就可以steam启动游戏是高清汉化版了。 汉化补丁在英雄无敌3的贴吧搜索“汉化” 在一些帖子里的回复能找到汉化补丁的帖子地址， 汉化补丁帖子名字叫：【用爱发电】英雄无敌3全新制作的汉化插件测试版放出。直接搜不出来，不知道为什么。

It's a buggy mess. My first 3 hours, no bugs. The autosave is what gets you thru the game. HOM3 Complete is not! A patch would be nice! Stay away until patched!

As much as I love having all my games in one place and playing HoMM3; you should not buy this version of Heroes of Might 3. Within one hour of the game, I crashed 2 times just trying to launch the game and then trying to stream the games to friends, it crashed another 3 times lmao I love this game and highly recommended playing it, but do not get any of the Steam versions that are out currently. If you do want to try out this amazing game, you're better off buying it off GOG.

It works now, its a good classic game, 10\10 its a must have ,works perfectly

Bought this to relive a childhood favorite. Instead I got a loading spinner and a crash to desktop, every single time. This is the post-debacle "fix," the patch that was supposed to make it launch. It doesn't. Windows opens it, HoMM3 pretends to think about it for a bit, then quietly gives up and dumps me back on my desktop like nothing happened. No error, no explanation, just silence and shame. A remaster that can't remaster the one feature every game needs: starting. 1/10, would not recommend, would not relaunch (because it can't).
