I was so exicted to see that kind of game exist on steam ! Like the famous Super Street Fighter Puzzle Turbo ! .... But once I played, it's really ridiculous : not a lot of gameplay, characters are useless, slow, no fun .... You'll play it few minutes after saying "ah ok .... Well ... Next ! " Too bad ... And very very expensive for what it is !

I'll keep it short: This game is a damned fine one based on the same principles as Super PuzzleFighter 2 Turbo. You choose a hero/villain and try to keep your playing field as free of blocks as possible. Get four blocks together? They become a super-block and deal massive damage when you land a block-buster on them. Additionally, each character has a special and an ultimate attack that you can trigger depending on how full the special gauge is. Each stage has an animated background and depending on how well you're doing your character's stance and such will change. Beware of opponent specials as quite a few can really change the playing style you need to use.
Thank you for achievements :D
This is a welcomed Puzzle Fighter II-inspired game. The mechanics are pretty much the same, with the addition of special attacks to spice things up. The character design is amazing, and the animations look great. It looks like an adaptation of a cartoon series! What would really make the game better is to have a nicer drop algorithm, because in the current state of things, this makes the game too hard and too much relying on chance, as opposed to Puzzle Fighter. By that, I mean 2 things: firstly, that "breakers" appear more steadily (sometimes 2 or 3 will appear at the very beginning of the game, where they're pretty much useless, and then it'll take forever for a new one to appear, filling up your grid for way too long); secondly, that when your opponent makes "timer blocks" appear, chunck of blocks of the same colors appear, because otherwise it is WAY too hard to clean up. The game is still in Early Access, so I'm hopeful that those things will change someday as they are only of a tweaking matter, and otherwise the game is super fun!
Своеобразный проект на любителя 6/10
Let's not beat around the bush here. It IS a Super Puzzle Fighter Clone, with power ups, based in a superhero universe. Plays well, controller compatibility is a plus for a title like this, and the music and graphics will take you back with nostalgia thrills. But in all honesty, for a puzzle title like this, the retro arcade graphics probably work better than something brushed up and smoothed with complex textures. This makes the game feel more raw and likable, and five or ten years from now could still be enjoyed without cringing a little. The Normal setting was a bit of a cakewalk, so I'm yet to try my luck with the hard setting. The "superpowers" that are character specific is a very neat touch to the gameplay. Instead of generic power-ups for everyone, each person gets their own power that is best used in certian situations over others. Professor Puzzler's power is by far one of the most annoying personally. Online and local multiplayer is a plus and overall; if you like drop style puzzle games that have or have the potential to be competitive, this is a definite buy. An absolute MUST if it's on sale. 9/10 - Awesome! P.S. It also looks as if more content for the game is on the way, which is needed and good to see.
Heroes Never Lose is a fast-paced, action-packed platformer that puts you in the role of a group of heroes tasked with saving the world from an evil villain. The gameplay is smooth and responsive, with a variety of moves and abilities at your disposal as you navigate through levels and defeat enemies. The level design is well done, with a good mix of platforming challenges and enemy encounters. One of the standout features of Heroes Never Lose is its vibrant, colourful graphics. The character designs are charming and the levels are bursting with life, making for a visually appealing experience. The story, while fairly standard for a platformer, is well-written and provides a good motivation for the player's actions. The voice acting is also strong, with the characters all delivering solid performances. Overall, Heroes Never Lose is a fun, enjoyable platformer that's worth checking out for fans of the genre. Its fast-paced gameplay, charming graphics, and well-written story make it a standout experience.
A simple but pleasant experience. I got the game with a 75% coupon and I enjoyed this game more than most f the early access titles. This game has the retro charm of Dr.Mario but has a unique play style. There aren’t many characters to choose from, but I understand that it is created by a small team who have other full time jobs and created this as a passion hobby. If you like to support a independent Dev and enjoy a simple strategy game (but hard to master) a la Tetris versus, look no further.
