A dark lesbian horror/romance story so toxic it's emitting spores. Ethel, a shy university student, ventures into the wintry woods late at night, where she meets an enchanting femme fatale — but all is not as it seems.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Ethel Briggs is a shy, self-conscious girl in her final year of university. Though she should be working on her thesis about Romantic poetry, her well of inspiration has run dry. After a nasty break-up with her former girlfriend, Clementine, Ethel is feeling very blue — and it certainly doesn't help that she's spending the winter holidays in the depressingly drab village of Oxbury, while her family are off holidaying in sunny Australia.
Left to her own devices, Ethel struggles to finish her thesis while the cold, wintry wind blows outside and the days continue to get shorter and darker.
Staying inside proves to be unbearable, however, and Ethel escapes the confines of her family's home for a breath of fresh air. Going for a walk in the woods should be enough to invigorate her, and fill her with newfound passion for Romanticism.
That was Ethel's plan, at least — but she wasn't counting on meeting a mysterious, dark-haired beauty in the woods, who is much more than she seems.

It's quite the unusual yuri but well it's really good in it's own special way. Also you could name this "Their Love, Like Poison"
i’m a huge fan of the concept, but the execution was disappointing. it is very repetitive and has a tendency to ramble about stuff that doesn’t really matter. even though it’s only two hours long, it felt like it was wasting my time. it’s also very referential, which personally bothered me and took me out of the story. the two girl’s chemistry was good at least.

What a delightful little story! Very wholesome if you have an extremely specific kind of brain damage, which I do.
Coming from It Gets So Lonely Here, I was honestly expecting an improvement since this one was paid. In short, I grabbed a few buddies to VA with and... We got bored by the midpoint of the novel, I ended up skimming through the rest solo to see what'd happen. While it gets more interesting later on, it simply isn't worth the time or money. The novel constantly berates you with metaphors that really lose their spark after you've seen the ninth or tenth one in a row, I thought the writing prose was really awkward to read at times, and honestly it was just a slog to get through. The idea sounded really interesting and the latter parts really live up to that intrigue that's found in the trailer! But ultimately it's covered with so much padded text in the beginning that'll knock you into a slumber before you get anywhere near the interesting tidbits. If there's anything else to take away, it's that less is more. Strip away at the meaningless descriptions of the sidewalk, or the way Ethel walks through the forest and you'd have maybe a 1-2 hour long novel that's constantly keeping you engaged. I'd much rather shill out money for that than something that feels bloated for the sake of word count. 5/10, interesting concept but it's execution could've been baked a lot longer.
奔着画风买的,我感觉正常人前期可能还是吐槽,后期这剧情真得生气了吧,还有日后谈突然扯bg到底啥意思,百合都一坨,咋还有异性恋的事,所有人一买一个不吱声是吧!(恼
seattle simulator with crazy emotional baggage involved
I really wish I was Ethel here (also REALLY good VN DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE!!)
verdict: 11/10. i knew exactly what was coming and i cried for 10 minutes whilst my bff laughed at me at the end anyway. game so good i want to kill myself and i would absolutely let a fungi hivemind puppeteering the body of the cute girl that they consumed previously 3 years ago consume my corpse as well and take my body over as their new host
E adoro a ousadia no enredo desse jogo. É excelente!!!

A story to mold your heart [Eng and Pt-Br]
I love Ebi-hime's writing. This time we have a yuri with beautiful art and once again an interesting theme! The development of the main character is very good, the discussion about the past, about characters that don't even appear in the game, was very well done, it's as if the world happens independently of the MC, increasing her melancholy and depression. The metaphors in this game, between mold, age and decay, are beautiful!!! And I love the boldness in the plot of this game. It's excellent!!!
