Henry Halfhead

Henry Halfhead is a charming and creative little puzzle game built around a really fun possession mechanic. You can interact with and control pretty much anything around you, which leads to a lot of fun and creative situations. The puzzles make good use of this ability and there’s a decent mix throughout the game, although most of them are on the easier side. The only thing that occasionally annoyed me was trying to possess one specific item when there were a lot of objects piled together. The visuals are fairly simple but fit the vibe of the game nicely. Henry himself is adorable, and the different areas have a good amount of variation. The character expressions also add some extra charm. I enjoyed the humor and overall presentation. Nothing in particular stood out, but the game maintains a fun and playful tone throughout. The music and sound design complement the experience well too. I also liked following Henry through his entire life. The way the story is presented is a little different from what you normally see in games, and I thought it worked really well alongside the gameplay. It creates a good balance between the narrative and the puzzles. The game only took me a few hours to finish, which felt like a reasonable length for this experience. However, I think the asking price is a little too high for the amount of content. I’d recommend picking it up on sale instead. I had a smooth experience overall without running into any notable technical issues. A fun, quirky and creative little game with a great central mechanic. Recommended, especially if you enjoy shorter puzzle games with a lot of personality.

Easy to play and understand! Not incredibly long but does not overstay it's welcome. Very cute premise, reminded me a bit of prop hunt lol, but overall was fun!

Cute and charming game with a fun gimmick of "possessing" various items in the world. There's free reign to play around in the world and progress the story chapters at your own pace. It's both silly and emotional at times and then it's fairly short and doesn't outstay its welcome. I played solo, but I could definitely imaging this being even more fun game to play co-op and/or with kids, too.
