Henchman Story

fun and interesting

I really enjoyed the game, and everything it had to offer, from story to characters to music to artwork to endings. Plus the point of view of your character, being a side character to all the rest of the big guys left and right, you don't see it often and its certainly a breath of fresh air of all the "YOU are the CHOSEN ONE".... I mean, we get that a lot, and the more you see it, the more tiring it gets after a while. Not that it's perfect, it isn't, but it's very good, and the only big difference with bigger names is the budget as far as I am concerned. Great Vn, fully enjoyed it, short and sweet I would say. Kudos to the developers, my best wishes to you and your next projects.

It is funny game.

A very charming game. It doesn't have a grossly long playtime, but it's enough to be worth a discounted price. 3 bucks is a steal. 15 is not really a steal one would say. The characters are interesting and consistent, I didn't notice any notable writing mishaps myself... The permutations of your choices can ripple quite a bit; enough that I noticed occasions in which what I assumed to be "minor flavour" dialogue options got referenced much later on. Since a single playthrough isn't terribly long, each choice ends up mattering quite a bit, and that explains the rather impressive amount of distinct endings. The voice acting is also pretty neat. Overall, I give this a "Bothered making a positive review/10"

This was very enjoyable. The voice acting is top notch, and it did get a good few laugh out loud -moments from me (thank you, Lord Bedlam). However, I was little disappointed about how easy it is to get good endings - especially if you choose to go the villainous route. [spoiler]I tried to be incompetent so hard and see if the main villain would make any good on her threats, but no dice. The worst you can get unless you actively betray your boss is "Henchman of the Year".[/spoiler] But, as the whole atmosphere is more reminiscent of the 1960s Batman series rather than the Nolanverse, I really don't hold the lack of blood and guts and edge against Henchman Story. If you like campy supervillains, sass, and powerful women who can and will punch you, I think you'll enjoy this game. [strike]However, I would not mind a DLC where you get to date Lord Bedlam or Dave...[/strike]
