Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best BR #65, worst RU #98 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Aug 20 → 9.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I need everyone to understand something. I downloaded Hello Kitty Island Adventure thinking it was going to be a cute little game. A harmless little game. A whimsical little game where Hello Kitty and her friends run around an island, pick up some shells, make some friends, decorate a cabin, and generally participate in the sort of activities that could not possibly ruin a human life. I was wrong. I was catastrophically wrong. This game has destroyed me. It has consumed everything I once held dear. My family is gone. My career is gone. My savings are gone. My dignity is gone. I am currently writing this review from what I believe is a cardboard box. And somehow I'm still thinking about whether I should log in because I think my crops are ready. It started innocently. I played for maybe twenty minutes. Then an hour. Then I thought, “Okay, I'll stop after I finish this one quest.” That was the first lie I told myself. Because the quest led to another quest. That quest led to another character. That character wanted an item. That item required another activity. That activity gave me a reward. That reward unlocked something else. And suddenly it was 3:47 AM and I was standing in the middle of a virtual island wondering why I had not seen the sun in several days. I didn't even notice. I thought it was still Tuesday. It was Friday. My family tried to intervene. My mother came into my room. She asked me if I had eaten. I told her I was busy. She asked what I was doing. I turned around. I was giving a gift to a fictional cat. She stared at me. I stared back. Neither of us spoke. Then she said: “Maybe you should take a break.” A reasonable suggestion. A compassionate suggestion. A suggestion I immediately ignored because HELLO KITTY HAD A FAVORITE GIFT AND I HAD TO FIND IT. That was the beginning of the end. Eventually my family held an intervention. They sat me down. Everyone was there. My relatives. My friends. Even the guy who mows our lawn was somehow there. They told me they were worried. They said I had changed. They said I wasn't myself anymore. I told them they didn't understand. They asked what was so important about the game. I opened my phone. I showed them my island. Silence. Then my uncle quietly said: “That's actually pretty nice.” HE UNDERSTOOD. I knew someone understood me. I tried explaining the decorating system. They didn't listen. They didn't want to understand. They just kept talking about “responsibilities” and “sleep schedules” and “employment.” Ridiculous. Eventually I lost my job. Not because I was bad at it. Because I stopped showing up. Apparently “I have an urgent quest” isn't considered an acceptable excuse. Society has failed us. I tried explaining that I had spent six hours gathering materials. My boss asked me why that mattered. I said: “Because I need them.” He said: “For what?” I couldn't answer. Not because I didn't know. Because he wouldn't understand. Then came the financial consequences. Rent was due. I didn't have the money. Why? Because I had spent my entire paycheck on things I absolutely did not need. Not even in the game. In real life. I had somehow reached the point where my financial planning strategy was: “Maybe Hello Kitty will give me something tomorrow.” She did not. She gave me a friendship reward. Which, admittedly, was pretty good. But it didn't pay rent. My landlord eventually asked me to leave. I packed my belongings. There wasn't much. A phone charger. Three shirts. A toothbrush. My dignity, although I think I lost that somewhere around the third island expansion. Now I live outside. The weather is cold. The ground is uncomfortable. People walk past me. Sometimes they give me money. Sometimes they ask if I'm okay. I tell them I'm fine. I am not fine. I HAVE 14 QUESTS WAITING FOR ME. The worst part is that the game is GOOD. That's what makes this unforgivable. If the game were terrible, I could walk away. If it were boring, I could uninstall it. If it were broken, I could move on. But no. It is cute. It is charming. It is relaxing. The characters are lovable. The island is beautiful. The activities are satisfying. The progression constantly gives you another little thing to work toward. Every time I think I'm done, the game whispers: “You could decorate this.” And I am powerless. I am a grown human being. I have responsibilities. I have obligations. I have dreams. And yet I will spend forty-five minutes deciding whether a table should go next to a chair. My family eventually disowned me. They told me I needed to choose. Them. Or Hello Kitty. I told them that was an unfair question. They said: “Choose.” I looked at my phone. I looked at my family. I looked back at my phone. There was a limited-time activity happening. I am not proud of what happened next. They left. I never saw them again. I still think about them sometimes. Usually while fishing. People tell me to delete the game. I CAN'T. Do you understand? I have invested too much. I have built a life there. A better life. A life where my friends are always happy to see me. A life where everyone has adorable little houses. A life where my biggest problem is finding the correct item. Do you know what my biggest problem is outside the game? Homelessness. Do you know what my biggest problem is inside the game? I NEED TWO MORE MATERIALS. It's a much better life. And that's why I have to give Hello Kitty Island Adventure the lowest possible score. Not because it's bad. Not because it's broken. Not because it's boring. But because it is too powerful. This game didn't fail to entertain me. It succeeded so violently that entertainment became my entire existence. It didn't ruin my life because it was poorly made. It ruined my life because somebody apparently sat in a development meeting and asked: “How do we make this game so pleasant that people completely forget they have real-world obligations?” AND THEN THEY DID IT. CONGRATULATIONS. YOU WON. I HAVE NOTHING. I LIVE IN A BOX. MY FAMILY WON'T SPEAK TO ME. MY EMPLOYER HAS BLOCKED MY NUMBER. MY BANK ACCOUNT HAS THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF A PAPER NAPKIN. BUT MY ISLAND? ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. 10/10 island. 10/10 characters. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 gameplay. 10/10 addiction potential. 0/10 GAME. I am begging anyone reading this review: PLEASE HELP ME. Someone take my laptop. Someone remind me that I have a real life. Someone tell Hello Kitty that I love her but I need to stop. Please. 0/10.

I like it in here. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm... Like I'm right where I'm supposed to be.
