Excellent game, narrative and visuals
To be honest, this game is one of the worst mental things that happened to me and I never want to play it again. That says it's a really good game, maybe too linear. If you have mental problems, don't play this. After each chapter, I was forced to take a one-day break, and I played Dark Rot on mute for my sake

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Problem with this sequel is that it almost tries to romanticize Psychosis. The first episode was pregnant of genuine and fresh ideas, and while this one keeps offering stunning visuals, fantastic graphics and awesome voice acting, the plot is much weaker as it tries to emulate a fantasy film they could show in cinemas, and on this lines I would heavily recommend Ninja Theory to move Senua from a videogame franchise into a Film, that would work great. In the original game, we had a non-specified number of voices in Senua's head that followed an illogical (yet calculated) pattern, they were extremely unpredictable and the developers played a lot with audio effects, often with realistic outcomes. Here, the voices, they call them "The Furies" to stay in-character, are two, they are not multifaceted anymore, they follow a more straightforward path that is unfamiliar to the "previous" Senua, they..."adapted" to a more mainstream behaviour. When I say that this episode tries to romanticize Psychosis, what i mean is that in Senua's case, the voices are not unpredictable anymore, here a person that knows nothing of Psychosis might believe that your voices will go along with you and actively support -or not- your choices. This is not random, this is extremely calculated, as a result it loses its effectiveness, it becomes predictable. Senua works well as a solo character, adding supporting characters as the ones we see here seem to partially remove the focus on what Ninja Theory fought the most about (Psychosis, again). Fights also feel more unrealistic, in the first game you couldn't tell if they were all born from Senua's imagination or not, here you know for a fact they are real, yet here you are defeating multiple seasoned warriors attacking you one at a time while our Furies will always repeat the same sentences ("You are stronger, you are faster, you are better, learn their patterns!", why are you giving me recommendations? Are we friends now?). I mean, this game has 8-10 scripted fights, is this really the best you could come up with? Finally, I will not judge the game's length, I will admit that playing Senua is heavy. You're not dealing with Super Mario jumping on platform or Sonic running at the speed of light, here you are dealing with a "patient" and each time she hears voices, you need to stop and focus on what's going on, you are not playing as Senua alone, instead you are playing as Senua and the Furies. You need to be careful of what happens in her head, although it doesn't affect the story directly. 7 hours to finish the main Story is enough, I would go crazy spending 14 hours with this mechanic. Contributing to this review is the price tag, which is, in my opinion, theft, this is why I waited until the discounts made their rightful course. This review doesn't mean to be blindly negative, I hope my small and humble opinion might be seen as constructive criticism.
Oh man where to begin... I first experienced a "Fatal Error" crash at the start of the game's climbing section, so that was fun! Luckily I never experienced it again though. My first impression is the beauty and realism of the visuals, it really blew me away. Sadly that is all the game has to offer. It starts of strong, but up to a certain point it just goes downhill. It's just walking, the puzzles are easier than the first game (which wasn't exactly hard to begin with) and the combat has less depth. No kicks and from what I can tell less attack sequences that you can pull off. There's no game here to be had, no fun to experience. Well alright, the story must be interesting then, right? Ehh no. The first game has the physiological element to it as the forefront, but here not as much. The environment, while pretty, just is so repetitive. Rocks, mountains, you name it. And let's not speak of that damn cave section...my god it was excruciating. Verdict: Unless you are the BIGGEST Senua fan in the world and get this on a sale, it's just a waste of time. Or if you're just like games that looks good, then sure go ahead and waste your money.
Story was weak, way more boring than the first. 45% of the game you just wait because there is a cutscene, 45% of the game you just walk forward, 5% of the game are straight forward boring puzzles and 5% of the game you "fight". If the clicking of buttons between being pushed can cout as fight. Extreme dissapointment. I remember final fight from the first game. Atmospheric music, tons of enemies, absolutely epic final. I played the last chapter several times.
