Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga

What a beautiful game. This is definitely one of my top picks to replay with everything cranked to the maximum when I get a new PC. Absolute cinema. This series continues to impress, and I can't wait for the next installment next year. If you're a fan of Norse culture, Celtic influences, and mythology, this game is absolutely worth your time. I'm glad I played both the first game and this one, as they complement each other perfectly. The visuals, atmosphere, sound design, and storytelling come together to create a truly unforgettable experience. And one more thing: listen to Heilung's Krigsgaldr and thank me later. 🔥⚔️🖤

Uma Obra Prima! É essencial Jogar o Primeiro para acompanhar toda Narrativa pois, o foco deste Título é exclusivamente este. Ambientação, enredo, trilha sonora, absolutamente tudo neste game é muito bem dosado para se tornar algo Sombrio e te causar medo e dúvida a Maior parte do tempo. Transferindo muito bem as Emoções Vivenciadas por Senua.

The story is okay, though not as good as the first game IMO. The intent was clearly a very cinematic experience, and that is generally done very well. The graphics also look amazing (one of the few games which deliver on Unreal Engine promises). Unfortunately, the actual gameplay suffers in the name of being cinematic. Most of it is just walking around, the puzzles are very straightforward, and the combat is trivial even on the hard difficulty. There's basically only dodge, block, and fast/heavy attack as your options against one enemy at a time for the whole game, with there being very few differences between enemies. The simple combat and puzzles were my main issues with the first game, and instead of improving on those in the sequel, it has been simplified even further. They've even removed the main interesting part of the combat from the first game, the boss fights. The whole game is also locked to a 21:9 aspect ratio, so you end up playing with black bars on any non-ultrawide monitor. If you only care about the story, I think this is worth playing if you buy it for cheap on a sale, or as a tech demo for the great graphics. It is also very short (I've finished the whole game within the hours on this review).
