About
Hell doesn't clean itself. But you do.
You've been assigned to the worst job in the afterlife. Hell has a rot problem. An infestation creep has crept into the neglected zones and started swallowing them whole, bodies are piling up faster than anyone can count, and nobody else is coming to deal with it.
That's where you come in.
Hell Cleaners is a first-person automation game about reclaiming territory from neglect and rot. You suck demon bodies off the floor, feed them into the Grinder, run their limbs through the Purifier, and slowly build an operation that takes the zone back piece by piece. The goal isn't just to clean the place. It's to build something that cleans itself.
It starts with you doing everything by hand. It ends with you standing in a clean zone watching the machine run without you. That moment is the whole game.
Features
Use the Suckler to suck up everything in sight. Your living suction tool is your primary instrument and your lifeline. Pop bodies, pull bodies, and hoover up loose souls before they drift off.
Feed the machine. Bodies go to the Grinder. Limbs feed the Purifier. The Purifier kills the creep, your clean zone grows, and the place finally goes quiet.
Deploy the Doombas. Small autonomous collectors that are, by design, kind of stupid. One is useless. Ten is an unstoppable swarm of idiots that never stops working. Stacking them is the point.
Push back the creep. Reclaim ground, link new areas back to your Purifier, and run pesticide hoses out into the rot to keep it from creeping back in.
Scale up and step back. Expand your operation into something that probably violates several underworld regulations, then walk away and watch it run itself. That's the payoff.
Cleaning hell is messy, loud, and industrial. It isn't a mop. It's a grinder.

I'm genuinely happy that Hell Cleaners is finally out. I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing the demo, and I was honestly really excited for the full release. But holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥… what happened? The final version barely feels like the same game I played in the demo. The graphics are noticeably worse. The lighting, atmosphere, textures, details, overall presentation… everything feels downgraded. But honestly, the graphics aren't even my biggest issue. The entire game currently feels like a draft. Menus, UI, animations, interactions, environments, general polish… almost everything gives me the feeling that I'm playing an unfinished prototype rather than the evolution of the demo I spent so much time playing. And yes, I know the game is in Early Access. I'm absolutely willing to accept bugs, missing content, balancing issues and unfinished mechanics because that's literally the point of Early Access. But here's the problem: The demo somehow felt more finished than the actual Early Access release. That's what I really don't understand. The demo had a much stronger visual identity and overall level of polish. It felt like a proper representation of what the game was supposed to become. Now, playing the release version, I can't help but feel like the demo was specifically polished to attract people and build hype, while the actual game was nowhere near that same level of quality. Maybe that wasn't the intention, but that's genuinely how it feels as someone who played the demo extensively. And that's incredibly disappointing because I actually think Hell Cleaners has a ton of potential. I already have so many ideas for things that could be added or improved in the future. There are so many directions this game could take, and I would genuinely love to watch it grow throughout Early Access. But right now… I don't even want more content. I want the quality and atmosphere of the demo back first. I expected Early Access to feel like an unfinished version of a bigger Hell Cleaners. Instead, it currently feels like an unfinished version of the demo. The demo made me want to buy Hell Cleaners. The Early Access release makes me want the demo back.

Well, it was a decently enjoyable 2 hours. Felt a little tedious for the final stretch. But most importantly, it only took 2 hours to beat... got the proper game over screen. I know it's Early Access, but I don't exactly expect the game to get longer. That's a tough ask for $15, or even $10 on sale. There's also not that much to it mechanically. I ultimately just feel a bit underwhelmed. I can't recommend it, not for a 2 hour experience.
Solid foundation to build upon. The beginning stages of this early access has me hooked. Eager to see how this game develops over the coming months.
I genuinely enjoy the heck out of this game.. I'm glad I gave it a shot because what I read on another review wasn't my experience at all. This is pretty much exactly what I'd expect from an early access indie game and the disclaimer at the beginning made it clear enough that I knew what to expect going into it. There are definitely some things that can be better and I'm assuming they will be over time but overall I find this to be an oddly cozy and relaxing game, and as someone who enjoys cozy but is sick of the farming and cooking and having to do quests for other NPCs & whatever else, I found the pseudo horror theme and simulator aspect really unique and interesting. I'm def looking forward to the full thing!!
Currently a little disappointed that there's not more. feels like it's hardly more content than the demo yet 10$. But since it's early access I'm giving a pass for now since I'm hoping to see more added
I had a great time building up my arsenal of hell-cleaning abilities and learning how to best use each of the different ways to break down and clean up bodies. I finished my first playthrough and was left excited for more areas and levels, or to jump back in and try to beat my time for a full clear. The Sucker Gun felt great to use, almost like Half-Life’s Gravity Gun. I’d recommend this to anyone who enjoys progressive games that layer new mechanics on top of each other and deliver a genuinely unique experience.
was a great fun game hope they add more to it soon just was really short beat the game in 2 an a hafl hours but was enjoyable an overall unique
Fantastic! Loved the demo, love the expanded content for release of the game. The routine is relaxing and I'm glad there's a sense of completion now and I can buy every upgrade - given enough time. I'm excited to see what's to come as I enjoyed all the minions and areas to explore, I can't wait to see more! It's not perfect yet but I didn't run into any game breaking issues. =)
I like games for playing without stress and time pressure. This one is perfect for a chilling out. The idea to cleaning up the hell of decased bodys is genius, and i dont ask why there re deceased bodys in hell. I guess they found a way out from there, well however. Steering works as usual with W-A-S-D and mouse and works perfect, the controlling of the tools as well. The graphic is enjoyable and the corpses looking ... well as they are..... you know with what you ve to do. The Co-Workers going off course sometimes, but i would try to hide me too if i would need to work there, but the devs working really hard on this game to avoid that workers are hiding from theyr job. (Where is my BULLWHIP..) The logic of the game is working well and beside some graphic glitches the corpse end as biomass in the collecting tube. I would love to see more of this, i ll call it mini games, to spend some relaxing hours. Great job. Go on.
The game was enjoyable and visuals were nice and fitting. You really got to see the results of the work you do. On the downside there isn't too much content yet and the cleaning can get a bit tedious at times.
