Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Those older games are always hit or miss. When launching you always prepare for controls to not work as expected, in this case press right shift to shoot and maneuver with arrows *sigh*. Plays like a top down shooter. Gameplay was probably ok back in the day, now it's clunky. Some training missions must be completed first in order to get into normal missions. What else to say? Steer away and play something at least decent.
Got in a helicopter for a chill flight turned out it was a flying gun with a joystick now I shoot enemies and yell like at a soccer match even my cat claps from the windowsill.
Heli Heroes is an arcade-style helicopter shooter developed by Reality Pump Studios and published by TopWare Interactive. Originally released in the early 2000s and later distributed digitally on Steam, the game aims to recreate the straightforward excitement of classic arcade shooters while presenting the action in a fully three-dimensional environment. Instead of emphasizing detailed flight simulation or realistic aircraft controls, the game focuses on accessible gameplay built around constant explosions, simple mechanics, and high-speed combat. The result is a fast-paced experience that feels more like an old-school arcade shoot-’em-up than a traditional helicopter simulator. The premise follows a familiar action-movie formula. Players take on the role of an elite combat pilot tasked with stopping a dangerous terrorist organization known as “Revolution Now,” a militant group threatening global stability through a series of attacks across multiple regions of the world. To stop their operations, players must fly combat missions across diverse battlefields, destroying enemy vehicles, installations, and aircraft while surviving waves of hostile fire. The story itself is relatively simple and primarily serves as a narrative framework for the missions, but it provides enough context to give players a sense of purpose as they progress through the campaign. Gameplay is built around a scrolling mission structure reminiscent of classic arcade shooters. The player pilots either an AH-64 Apache Longbow or a Russian Hokum attack helicopter while navigating through large combat zones filled with enemy forces. The helicopter automatically advances through the environment while players control movement, weapon targeting, and defensive maneuvers. Enemies appear constantly, ranging from ground vehicles and anti-aircraft turrets to enemy helicopters and fighter jets. The player must dodge incoming fire while unleashing rockets, missiles, and machine-gun attacks to clear the battlefield. Combat is deliberately exaggerated and explosive, with large visual effects and constant destruction dominating the screen. Destroyed enemies frequently drop power-ups that temporarily upgrade the player’s weapons or provide additional defensive abilities. These pickups create a satisfying sense of progression within each mission, as the player’s helicopter gradually becomes more powerful and capable of handling larger groups of enemies. When several upgrades stack together, the helicopter can unleash devastating firepower that quickly wipes out entire formations of hostile units. The campaign is divided into roughly thirty missions that take place across a variety of global environments. Players will fly over deserts, icy northern landscapes, industrial complexes, and military installations while carrying out objectives such as destroying enemy bases, escorting allied units, or eliminating powerful boss targets. Many missions culminate in large boss encounters that require players to dodge heavy attacks while targeting weak points on massive enemy vehicles or fortifications. These boss battles add a welcome change of pace to the otherwise straightforward gameplay loop. Visually, Heli Heroes attempts to modernize the classic scrolling shooter formula by using three-dimensional environments. Buildings, mountains, and terrain features are rendered in 3D, allowing the helicopter to maneuver around obstacles and create a sense of depth within each battlefield. While the graphics are clearly dated by modern standards, they still manage to convey the scale of the environments and the chaos of large explosions. The screen is often filled with fire, smoke, and debris, which contributes to the game’s energetic arcade atmosphere. Another notable feature is the inclusion of cooperative gameplay. The game supports a companion mode that allows two players to fly through missions together. In cooperative sessions, players share the battlefield while coordinating attacks against waves of enemies. This mode adds an extra layer of fun to the experience, as teamwork can help overcome difficult missions and create chaotic moments filled with simultaneous explosions and crossfire. Playing alongside a friend can significantly enhance the overall enjoyment of the game, especially during the more challenging later missions. The sound design complements the action with dramatic explosions, weapon effects, and an energetic soundtrack that reinforces the high-intensity combat. Missile launches, machine-gun bursts, and collapsing structures are accompanied by loud audio cues that make every successful attack feel impactful. The music follows a classic action-game style, building tension during intense moments while maintaining the energetic pace that defines the gameplay. Despite its entertaining arcade approach, the game does have several limitations. The mission structure remains fairly repetitive, with most objectives revolving around destroying enemies or surviving waves of attacks. Over longer play sessions the lack of variety can become noticeable, especially since the core gameplay mechanics remain largely unchanged throughout the campaign. Additionally, the relatively short length of the game means experienced players may complete the main story within a few hours. Even with these shortcomings, Heli Heroes succeeds in delivering exactly the kind of experience it sets out to provide: simple, explosive arcade action focused on helicopter combat. Its easy-to-learn controls, constant stream of enemies, and cooperative play option make it an enjoyable choice for players who appreciate classic shoot-’em-up gameplay. While it may lack the depth and complexity of modern flight combat games, it remains a fun and nostalgic reminder of the straightforward arcade shooters that inspired it. Rating: 7/10

Seriously, for this price, you can't go wrong. It is a blast from the past.
