Build a company worth following. Lead it into battle.
Hedge Knight blends hands-on medieval combat with army command and a campaign of rival kingdoms. Recruit your company, choose your next battle and fight alongside the soldiers you command. A shield wall, a cavalry charge or a well-placed meteor can turn the fight.
LEAD FROM THE FRONT
Command your infantry, position your archers and send in the cavalry, then draw your sword and join the fight. Trade blows in close skirmishes or take the field as hundreds of soldiers clash around you. Fight on foot, charge on horseback, or follow a flying arrow towards the enemy with the arrow camera.
BUILD YOUR COMPANY
Travel between villages, towns and castles to hire troops, find contracts and stock up on supplies. Train and promote your soldiers, develop your knight and earn renown through your victories. Mix familiar troops with fantasy recruits, from dwarfs and skeletons to spell-slinging mages, and decide which rival kingdom to challenge next.
STORM THE WALLS
Bring the battle to the castle gates. Advance with siege towers, ladders and battering rams, fight for the ramparts and push towards the keep. Narrow crossings and crowded walls turn a sweeping battlefield into a series of close, hard-fought encounters.
TAKE TO THE SKIES
Ride across the countryside on horseback, then take the reins of a griffin or dragon. Bank above the battlefield, soar over castle walls and see the battle unfold beneath your wings. Your next charge does not have to come from the ground.
UNLEASH MAYHEM
Drop a meteor into packed enemy ranks. Hurl fireballs through the melee. Send soldiers flying with a ground-shaking slam. Powerful spells, airborne ragdolls and dismemberment bring a chaotic edge to the fighting, all in a colourful low-poly fantasy world.
