well, it was filled with a lot of funny moments that defied expectations. The only issue I have is I feel the last two boss battles dragged on a little bit.

A character introduces himself as his life goal is to live until he’s 100 years old. His name is Gonnadai Rightaway. He dies in the first five minutes. If that made your mouth so much as twitch towards smiling, chances are, this game will make you laugh out loud several times. It’s free. Why not give yourself a free, honest-to-goodness laugh?
So... Heavy Spoilers RPG: Overly Long Subtitle That Spoils the Ending. At first glance, this game is a comedy, where it's a typical RPG except for the fact that the names of the characters spoil everything about them. King Thecalprint (who insists that he's not the culprit) sends Harold Sageblood and his companions (the loyal Martha Betraeor, the "genius" Theresa Nottubright, and the short-lived Gonnadai Rightaway) to defeat the Demon Lord Dahee Rosfather for allegedly being behind the decrease of the human population and the increase of the slime population. But once you get to the Demon Lord's castle, then the plot starts to become as great as the RPGs it's parodying. (Heavy spoilers below)
It turns out that the reason that the slime population was increasing was because people who were living in despair were being magically transformed into slimes in order to create the illusion of a happy kingdom. Dahee Rosfather reveals that the true culprit was not him, but King Thecalprint. The plot requires that you refuse Dahee's offer to have you join him, and you kill him. But then it turns out that King Thecalprint wasn't actually the culprit, and that like Dahee Rosfather, he had a thecal print on his neck which served as a symbol of mind control. The true mastermind was Thecalprint's wife, Queen Cheetin, who you'd be forgiven for forgetting about her because up until that point, she only appeared at the beginning as a one-note adultery joke. Martha Betraeor turns out to be a mole for Cheetin, but her feelings for Harold Sageblood were genuine, so she betrays Cheetin, and the party kills her. After that, the slime curse stops, and the party helps society move forward by killing the remaining slimes, the last of which is Harold's dad, evidenced by the fact that he says "Aold" when he dies. I think that the nature of Queen Cheetin's slimification spell and her motives for using it could be good political commentary about how society constantly tries to uphold the illusion of everyone being well-adjusted, even when they're not. It's something I had to struggle with a lot, as someone who's upfront about his personal problems and who's also prone to extreme emotions, despite authority figures telling me to have good manners and not openly display negativity. I don't know if KSB Games intended it to be that way, but it's good food for thought.
All in all, this game is a masterpiece, and I recommend that you play it. And the best part is, it's free. Also, Martha Betraeor is best girl.
So peak I played for 7 hours. Would recommend.
