About
He Who Watches is an atmospheric first-person puzzle game that tasks you with navigating a seemingly impossible structure. Grapple with spatial reasoning and shifts in perspective to solve mind-bending puzzle chambers in a mysterious puzzle-platformer where every surface is a possible pathway.
Your bow is not a weapon, but a puzzle-solving tool used to manipulate your environment. Together with a single, magical arrow, you can open doors, move blocks, activate switches, and pull yourself across gaps with its magical chain.
Walk on walls. Walk on ceilings. Shift gravity as you slip between these planes, creating chain reactions to find the correct path forward. Patience and persistence are key to unlocking each solution.
What lies at the heart of this ancient labyrinth? How vast is this enigmatic structure? He Who Watches is full of secret paths, hidden mechanics, and cryptic symbols that invite you to look closer. Seek the imprisoned god at the centre. He is waiting.

a great puzzle game, with some really high quality levels so far! i've been routinely getting stumped on the last few levels in the areas i visited so far, so difficulty wise it's more challenging than i expected going into it one tiny nitpick is that i really don't like level names that describe the idea within the level, it feels weird to often be given a big hint just from a level name. quite a few level-based puzzle games do this and i've never really been a fan at one point it made a puzzle really trivial and now i'm just in the habit of closing my eyes at the start of every puzzle, which is admittedly really silly but i don't like hints ok
It's really addicting. Let me play some more..

One of those puzzle games that instantly feels like a classic of the genre
This game's sick. Super fun, super satisfying.
Excellent mainline puzzles and excellent secrets. All you could ask for!
He Who Watches is an imaginative and difficult spatial puzzle game, and was a delight to play. Instead of “thinking with portals”, you’ll find yourself “thinking with gravity” in increasingly weird and strange ways to pull off the seemingly simple task of just making your way to the exit. Most of the levels are relatively small, and don’t even have that many elements. And yet, I found myself mulling over possible solutions all the time when I wasn’t playing the game, sometimes arriving at an “aha” moment when I was nowhere near the computer. The difficulty ramps up quickly, but the hint system is really a set of mini-levels that make the learning curve quite a bit easier when you need the help. And while there isn’t a ton of plot, things get steadily weirder as you make your way through the game. To say more would involve too many spoilers. Bobby Vanden has created something really unique, with some guidance from the steady puzzle hands of Draknek and Friends. Overall, it’s a mind-meltingly good puzzle game.
Awesome puzzle.
Very cool puzzle game. Love their hint system: the game has you solve a mini version of the puzzle
Great. Also great hint system.
I'm only an hour in and I can already tell that this is a generational masterpiece. It feels like a cross between a well-crafted Sokoban game and Portal. Fantastic visuals, presentation, and extremely clever puzzles make this a must-play for puzzle game enjoyers.
