Haunted Room : 205

Haunted Room: 205 is a short indie horror game that takes place entirely in a small apartment and an adjacent hallway. The apartment is haunted and gameplay involves searching your apartment for paranormal activity before going to sleep for the night. The game takes just over 1 hour to finish. + There are several really effective jump scares. + There is a story revealed at the end of the game, and it is interesting. Solid attempt for a low budget indie game. + Excellent sound placement on headphones and environmental sounds in general. + The graphics are well done and the environments look well enough. (It is just a small apartment) + Fun sanity game mechanic. +/- The game is short and clocks in right around 1 hour total. If it's past midnight, in the dark, and you're looking for some scares, this game can get the job done. Overall: 7.5/10

Haunted Room: 205 certainly manages to keep the flame alive for *P.T.* fans with its intense, provocative atmosphere. While it may not be the most substantial modern indie horror title out there, it offers a unique style and plenty of unsettling encounters. The plot though largely predictable and not quite as gripping as a masterfully orchestrated horror story still delivers solid moments and compelling gameplay elements. The inclusion of certain spatial mechanics and emotional beats, while not exactly groundbreaking, adds a great extra layer to the overall experience. It might not be enough to set the game apart from its competitors, but it certainly leaves a lasting impression. In a crowded indie horror landscape, Haunted Room: 205 manages to inject its own blend of palpable jump scares and perilous moments into the mix. That said, you probably shouldn't expect a revolutionary new experience here. Even so, if you have time to kill and a few dollars to spare, I’d definitely recommend signing the lease to see what this rental property has in store.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to leave a review on this game. Not only did this game keep me at the edge of my seat for what came next, but the story line was absolutely amazing. The jump scares definitely got me good every time. This is definitely in my top 5 favorite horror games for 2026!! Amazing job Devs!

Game was super interesting, and the few jump scares really did get me, i believe this was a great short experience especially made by 1 developer. If you like a twist in a Scary game, this is a highly recommended title to play.
