Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

Amazing but in problem This game is awesome with all of the graphics and how you can make your avatar and the quest also all of the teachers and professors are point on they also made it seem just like the books . But one thing that I get annoyed about is how you cannot move your character and walk to your class but otherwise I recommend it

Nice but the ads Ok, let’s make this clear. I love the game but the ads are so annoying. You can’t do anything without wasting energy you might think so what?! Well I thought that too and I think it’s so annoying that I have to watch soooo many ads to get energy. Great game but be aware of ads

I hate that its’s rigged I do enjoy the game and have spent a good bit of money on it at times but as it progresses that is less worth it. On thing that irks me is that Full Marks used to be fun. Now it’s so rigged I just gave up. It obvious and algorithm and not actually other players. Can’t even get into the top 3 anymore even when I go upwards of 4,000 points. This photo is of a time I solidly got to #3 and in the last few moment beat by 5 points. Playing against bots/rigged obviously.

I’ve really enjoyed this game, it has a lot of potential but some improvements are needed I’ve really enjoyed this game, even though I only downloaded it a few days ago. In that short time, I’ve fallen in love with it and can see a lot of potential for growth and improvement. One of the most frustrating issues is the energy system. Regaining one energy point every four minutes means it can take nearly two hours to refill the energy bar, and even a full bar sometimes isn’t enough to complete one lesson. Some lesson choices cost between one and five energy points, at least at the levels I’m currently playing, which makes progressing difficult. I’ve seen other players express similar frustrations in the comments. The option to watch ads for additional energy is helpful, but it disappears after only two or three ads. I think this option should remain available, especially for players who cannot afford to spend much money on the game. At times, the game feels somewhat money-grabby, which takes away from the experience. I understand that developers need to make money, but there are ways to monetize the game without making it feel so focused on purchases. I also have several ideas that could make the game more immersive. For example, instead of allowing players to choose their Hogwarts house outright, the Sorting Hat could ask questions about their morals, values, and personality. It could then assign them a house based on their answers, making the experience feel more like it does in the books and movies. For example, if a player’s answers resulted in 15% Ravenclaw, 40% Gryffindor, 30% Slytherin, and 15% Hufflepuff, the Sorting Hat would place them in Gryffindor, even if they initially wanted to choose Slytherin. The Sorting Hat should make the final decision based on the player’s answers. I would gladly pay $50 or more for this game if more improvements were made, and I think other players might feel the same. In-app purchases could still be offered for optional features, such as clothing, dorm-room decorations, wall colors, and bed colors. Overall, I really enjoy the game and have spent the last few days playing it whenever I can. However, the energy system is very frustrating because it takes so long to replenish, and a full energy bar often isn’t enough to complete an entire lesson. Side quests also require energy, which makes the wait even longer and creates a frustrating amount of grinding. The same issue applies to dueling. After completing a duel, there is a seven-hour wait before you can duel again. This is frustrating, especially when you’re enjoying the game and want to progress more quickly.

Crashes every 30sec, updated I update on a regular basis to reflect the current effort this company is putting into this game. The news is not good folks. The devs just don’t seem interesting in fixing the game crashes here. The most recent “fix” did not fix the crashes or lags, and now in addition the game freezes up where you must force quit. Unless you have a phone with a crazy amount of RAM you can’t go over 30 seconds playing, which causes loss of serious progress. They programmed in a manual save button but why is it out of hundreds of game apps I’ve used I’ve never once had this problem? Check the subreddit, it’s been widespread for years. I’ve been playing for a long time and I’m in the graduation class. This takes quite a lot of energy, more so than prior years, which can make the story hard to follow, and events hard to win. They have very little interest in diversifying content to keep it interesting. They introduce new features to the game, then very quickly ruin them so they are unwinnable or offer a fraction of the rewards. They also introduce beta tests all the time so that half the players get to watch the other half win all this great stuff in the Discord and Reddit and then they never offer the left out players anything. They’ll now have 2 to 3 events going at one time, and yet none of the prizes are truly worth winning. Over the last six weeks they’ve now ruined their newer diary event so that it’s unwinnable for even daily players. When you ruin things for daily players, you’ve really lost the plot.

Great Game I love this game! My only problem is that I was hoping it to be more about doing good at Hogwarts, but instead there’s a whole story which sometimes keeps you from doing good.

Money pit It was fun until a full days energy won’t even get you through an event. Now in year 4 to learn a new spell you have to burn your energy multiple times to practice a prior learned spell first. I know they need to make money but that’s pretty ridiculous.

Logs me out constantly! The game glitches a lot! and logs me out so I have to redo what I was doing. Also I dislike how I have to wait 4 mins for one energy.please fix this!!!

It would be 5 stars… I am a diehard Harry Potter fan. I’ve been playing for over 5 years and I have some issues that I feel most players would be grateful to have addressed. My concerns are as follows: 1. Why can’t I upgrade my broom? I love to be on the Quidditch Team and it’s embarrassing to be still flying on a broom that’s wrapped in duct tape in my 5th year! Why can’t I use my coins to upgrade my broom? 2. Why is it so hard to earn diamonds? I cannot afford to purchase diamonds from Hogwarts. 3. Time allotted for quests is unreasonable. Each time I come back to the game it feels as though I’ve run out of time. I’ve tried maybe 6 quests, and completed 1. People have lives and the timing for the quests is just unrealistic. I want to finish this review by saying that I love the game, but at the same time, it would be nice to be able to play it completely stress free.
