Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

Hogwarts Mystery! 🪄 This HAS to be the most addicting game I have ever played. I am a Potterhead for sure, watched all the movies and read all the books! This game lets me experience how it feels to be in the Wizarding World, which is pretty exciting! There are many ways to customize your character and it has an interesting storyline that has me hooked. There is one downside though..the energy (or whatever it’s called) takes pretty long to refill. I’m fine with watching ads but I would love if they made us wait 2 mins (or 1 min!) per energy point! I would also love for them to have more ways to earn diamonds besides paying money to get more.

It became unplayable I don't know what you've done to the game, but for the last couple of weeks, it's been completely unplayable. First, it constantly lags — screens freeze, and it's especially annoying during moments when you have to do a mini-game between stars. Because of this, it's impossible to use the unlimited lives boost you purchase for a limited time, since you lose so much time just waiting for the game to stop stuttering. Second, progress doesn't save — for example, I reached 3 out of 5 stars on a task, ran out of energy, exited the game, and came back an hour later to find only one star, or something like that. So you end up losing progress for no reason, which is especially painful during time-limited tasks. Third, I still have 2 adventures from the Hogwarts era that I've never completed, and I can't finish them — they never show up randomly, and they haven't for years, and there's no way to select them in the Memory Book. Fourth, my phone (and I have an iPhone 17) gets so hot that it literally burns my hands. And finally, the number of pop-up screens is starting to get really irritating. Especially if, for example, you've bought unlimited lives for a limited time — by the time you close all of them, your time is already up, and that's it. It feels like you didn't optimize the game at all, and now it just doesn't work properly. The gaming experience is simply unbearable right now — I don't even feel like playing anymore. Every time I open the game, it's torture. And I love this game — I even buy some boosts, energy, and so on. But sometimes I just want to delete it and never touch it again because of this experience, when the game keeps freezing and it's impossible to play.

fun but a few things i really dislike great story & i like the characters. the energy thing is annoying but not totally unbearable. the main thing i hate is the timed side quests—seriously, please give us more time for them! it’s ridiculous, you have to play like 5 hours a day just to finish the special quests. it seriously sucks. they give you like a million things to do PLUS a timed quest. seriously just make them not timed or make it so you have to finish it before you finish your first year or third year or seventh year or whatever. the timed quests are really stupid and take way more energy than normal stuff and like i mentioned before the energy thing gets annoying. also i think it would be really good if you could move the character around with like 3rd person view for the whole game. it doesn’t have that sadly but maybe someday. i have iphone 16e and it crashes a lot and gets stuck on the loading screen. i know it happens to people often which is kinda frustrating. thank you for reading, hope this helps!! quick tip for anyone planning to download: google all the hidden energy spots!!! you can get some free energy if you know where to look. edit: thank you so much for your reply!

Useless Customer Service Ignore all the responses in these reviews saying to contact customer support if you have technical issues. All customer support does is send canned responses recommending you do what you have already tried. I don’t think they actually read what players write. Now I am unable to even load the game. I have enjoyed the game. I’ve played almost every day since December 2019. I was working on the latest chapter release. There have been innumerable bugs but historically they have been resolved in a day or two. However, I haven’t been able to load the game since last Friday. I have spent considerable time and effort to get the app loaded. Jam City Support just sent one basically canned response in 5 days. I guess I have no choice but to move on. If you are willing to risk all the time, enjoy the game. It is fun. Just realize, if there are any issues Support is superficial so you may not be able to complete the game. Update: The Jam City response is exactly what I expected. Basically canned and superficial. The link recommended goes to the exact same place I already entered a Help request. It took almost 5 days to receive the canned response to my original request. I responded within a couple of hours. It has been more than 48 hours with no response to my follow up. Jam City has personnel to respond to Apple App reviews within a couple of hours. If they were serious about actually helping players, they would similarly respond to help requests. Update 2: After a week, Jam City “applied a manual fix” that allowed me to access the game. The long timeframe meant I was unable to finish challenges, like the Diary, Daily Stamps, etc., and I had to spend a week upgrading my friends and dating levels but I wanted to update the review because the main issue was fixed. The game is still more glitchy than ever - closing unexpectedly or not saving progress. At least I can play.

FIX THE CRASHING ISSUE PLZ! The crashing issue with just normal game play and then crashing when the festival grounds are open …is enough for me to not want to plan this game anymore….i shouldn’t have to save progress in the game every 5 seconds to avoid being screwed over when it crashes on you and none of your progress has been saved

Energy is not regenerating Since the new update, I will close the app and wait 2 HOURS and it’s the exact same time left on the event and no energy has been gained.

I have a question Whenever I try to play Harry Potter Hogwarts mystery, it always ends up loading, having a black screen and then kicks me out and I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried everything, I’ve tried re-download the game, cleaned up my storage, basically everything, do you think you guys can help me?

Great game but keeps kicking me out Every time I go to talk with Hagrid when he is giving me a pet it kicks me out and I would love to play this game it’s so fun but every time I get kicked out please fix this
