Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are new_user, trapped. The only way out is through the machines but nothing works.
Hard Chip is a 3D simulation and puzzle game where you design a real processor from scratch. No abstraction layers. No drag-and-drop logic blocks. You start with the foundation, the transistor and you build up from there.
Wire complementary transistors into NAND and NOR gates. Combine gates into components. Combine components into circuits. By the end, you will have designed a working 8-bit ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) by hand, from silicon principles.
Combine your gates into larger, more sophisticated parts. Each assembly is a puzzle, demanding not just intelligence but creativity, planning, and foresight.
Every wire has length. Every gate has delay. Your design is only as fast as its slowest path. Propagation delay is not a stat, it is a consequence you have to engineer around.
The terminals are dead. The machines are silent. Figure out why, one gate at a time.

Definitely a callback to some electronics classes. Challenging at times but in the best way, teaching by example and encouraging you to try different step-by-step methods of achieving the desired outcomes. Extremely satisfying watching your design finally validate with no errors. Highly recommend!
As god as my witness (and my wife) I am in love with this game! It's incredibly fun, was easy to grasp, and there's countless things to do even in early access. Being able to easily duplicate builds to build something even larger, to optimizing for tick count, volume, and even MOS', I cannot stop playing. I can't wait to see this game in its full release!

just finished my first hour or so tinkering around. if this keeps up and we get to a full CPU it will be up there with turing complete as one of the best logic chip / ic design games.
this is some nerdy ass ♥♥♥♥ also htf did some of you manage to get such good scores? this is crazy
My chips always end up like spaghetti Fun and challenging 10/10
Good music, fun puzzles, can't stop optimising. Works great on Nixos 25.05 with Intel Arc B580. The demo played great, but the full game needed proton. Proton 9.0-4 works fine.
Excellent pour developper l'intellec! Super jeux. Encore quelques bugs, mais il est tout jeune!
The game's controls leave a lot to be desired, as does the number of bugs that cause crashes - they happen all the time
Very addictive game. 10/10
