Ich liebe alles daran.

Hand of Fate, but not as you know it. Built around the distinct dark fantasy style and narration of the beloved card game, Hordes as a Survivor-like spin-off is vastly different. Which may not necessarily be a bad thing, depending on your taste in games. By combining the automatic combat of a Bullet Heaven game with the card-driven choices of Hand of Fate, there's definitely the bones of a compelling game. After unlocking the four heroes available in the game's early access, there does seem to be a slower progression than what you might expect from other games in the genre. The available levels also seem to be a tad repetitive at the moment, with many of the objectives used multiple times across many levels. Despite this, I'm still thoroughly enjoying Hand of Fate: Hordes. It's the ideal crossover for fans of both the series and the Bullet Heaven genre. If you don't mind following along with the game's development, then give the early access a shot, but otherwise, I am hoping there will be much more variety in the eventual 1.0 release. Played and reviewed on Steam Deck. Runs perfectly with no issues and controller mapping works with no changes required!
Hand of Fate survivors
Absolutely loving this game. Lots of content for it's early access state. A very sold vibe and blend of classic Hand of Fate with a Survivors-like game. It is definitely leaning more towards the Survivors-like aspect than it is classic Hand of Fate, but I really enjoy how they blended it. Probably my favorite roguelite game that came out in July. Looking forward to the deck building, and other content they'll add in the future.
