Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.
As a Hero of Haddonfield, it’s your job to alert the residents of Haddonfield to the impending evil and help them escape before falling victim to Michael’s unyielding pursuit. In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons to outsmart or even overpower The Shape, providing precious windows for escape.
This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5 to deliver engaging and dynamic gameplay systems, life-like NPCs, hauntingly realistic visuals, cinema-quality lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. Asymmetrical horror comes home in Halloween.

This is like Dead by Daylight if that game was fun
just like friday the 13th, but with better controls and graphics peak game.
ngl, this is just as bad as the friday the 13th game that got shut down. I hope this game also shuts down, considering the cost for this doesnt match what you are getting. Should have cost 5 dollars at most, considering the gameplay quality

It's Illfonic; it's a glitchy mess; but somehow, I laugh the hardest and have the most fun playing this game. I don't care it's a mess, I have a good time.
Good Game. Runs Fine. Has moments where there are jumps but nothing major that affects gameplay. Game mechanics and playability is good. If you understand the concept of the game and have teamwork, then its a great game.
very fun game, but it sucks that matches keep going even if the player playing Myers quits, or if you’re playing civilian and you die / there’s nothing else to do in the match. you’re basically obligated to stay in the match until it ends just to get your XP. it also has a lot of performance/optimization issues. If these issues were fixed and constant updates were added, I can see a lil bit of future in this game. Other than that, it is very enjoyable with friends and honestly reminds me of the good ol' Friday the 13th golden days. not remotely comparable to DBD in any aspect other than the whole asymmetrical horror game thingy as many people (specially DBD players) are trying to make it out to be. this game is made to be fun, not to have stupid meta/competitive focused updates and "balance" fixes.
So addicted I'm tweaking
.
I've had a blast with this game! I was an early supporter of F13, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Evil Dead, and I recently picked up Killer Klowns. I gotta say this one might be my favorite to fill that void of the 'good old days' from F13. This feels like F13 with more polish and more things to do. Even when I die, even though I could just leave, even if I don't come back as a cop/Loomis, I feel enjoyment from seeing how the rest of the match plays out! One of the biggest things I love about this game is the single player story/private matches. I'm not that good against other players so when I just feel like taking it easy I can and I still rank up! I hope to see you in Haddonfield!
