Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.
As a Hero of Haddonfield, it’s your job to alert the residents of Haddonfield to the impending evil and help them escape before falling victim to Michael’s unyielding pursuit. In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons to outsmart or even overpower The Shape, providing precious windows for escape.
This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5 to deliver engaging and dynamic gameplay systems, life-like NPCs, hauntingly realistic visuals, cinema-quality lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. Asymmetrical horror comes home in Halloween.

pros. . The Atmosphere fit the game perfectly like the movie. . Love when you character scream give fun way telling you mike in your area. . Love the music play when appear when using his power . It nice it let you help you team by giving boost to them when you are dead . Fun killer Mechanics use like blackout and shape jump fun to give player fear to watch their back cons Rough Presentation: Features some low-budget animations, jank, and performance awkwardnes suggest . more gore and blood please.
Went into the game not knowing how to do a damn thing, the NPC's are buggy and dont follow you and its mini game and escort simulator. Constantly felt lost and looking for items and never finding an exit. Animations bugs and just feels one sided. Getting icons as the police officers and not getting prompts for anything. Its just a mess of a game....

They need to fix the cops just watching you when Michael picks you up, they don't even try to save you. Michael needs to be weakened each time he's knocked, you can knock him over and over again and it doesn't really have an effect on him. Would be really fun if they balance the game. Should be a chance you escape when he grabs you, you have no chance. Also hitting him whens hes holding someone does nothing. You can't enter a resident home once they get scared the just lock themselves in their house and its very annoying to get them out. Would be better if it was more players and less ai based. Not to mention the countless bugs that can ruin a game. Or you get a michael just abusing whatever weapon just spam swinging the fire poker and you insta die. Had one game Michael was invisible. The more I play this the more the excitment wears off and the game pisses me off, the ad spam to break free NEVER works.
Great premise so far, but so much is bugged in Early Access it's hard to give a full-throated recommendation. VoIP was broken day one, the challenges in Story Mode are bugged so it's not possible to get half of them, optimization is very poor. The concept is fantastic, and it plays like the game I've wanted to play ever since F13 got the brutal shutdown. I really hope all the bugs get ironed out ASAP so this game can be enjoyable.
I love this game, for me its perfect, i love all of it, i want to play so many times, its just that, its graphics optimisation is REALLY BAD, im probably one of the only people truly apreciating this game, and now supposedly my pc aint strong enough to proccess the map. I had lowered all in the graphic settins, includin resolution and image pixels, just for it lowering my FPS really low. The problem? I need a discrete graphic card which costs a lot of money. It really upsets me to not be able to play this game, im having a lot of bad times just due to the FPS, i cant press buttons, i cant react in time, i cant aim or even grab. Recomendation? or developers fix this, or the only way of playing this is by paying a expensive discrete graphic card, thats the only options.
Jogo precisa de uma otimização gráfica ,pois o jogo é pesado demais ,e é preciso reavaliar os poderes do MYERS, tá faltando um modo combate para ele .
Really fun and its great you can still get XP in private match with friends
