Some rough edges but its a new game despite that it’s super fun!!!
good game crashes alot for me i hope they fix it

close enough, welcome back friday the 13th
I was so hyped when I saw the trailers and gameplays at PAX East and now when I can play the game myself I feel... that I got what I wanted! Killing bots in many ways is satisfying, the graphics and animations are smooth and if you're a true fan of the franchise, you will never be bored. Stalking alone, both in third and first person, is fun. Especially when the civilians are completely unaware. Shape Jump is truly great for jumpscares. You feel like Myers from the movies you like. My only issues with the game is that it doesn't support my native language (I'm a Pole) and that you can't disable the timer in private matches, but I think the latter is going to be fixed soon.
❌ Not Recommended As much as it pains me to say this as a lifelong John Carpenter and Halloween fan, this game is simply not ready for release. It currently feels like a half-baked mess dragged down by severe, well-documented technical issues. The Breaking Point: Blatant Cheating With less than two hours of playtime, I have already run into two undeniable cheaters across the roughly eight matches I played. Impossible Teleportation: Players controlling Michael Myers were teleporting in broad daylight while survivors were looking directly at them. Anyone who has played Myers knows you cannot do this unless you are cheating. Instant Teleporting to HVTs: Cheaters instantly teleported directly to High-Value Target civilians and killing them instantly. Instant Self-Revives: When knocked down, these cheating players would immediately get right back up. Running into two definitive cheaters in under two hours of gameplay on launch day is completely unacceptable for a newly launched title,EAC is a steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥♥. Technical State/Bugs & Glitches: The game is riddled with numerous visual and mechanical bugs,NPCs not following orders, clipping out of bounds or just getting in the way shoving you out of conversations and running around aimlessly back and forth. Broken Mechanics: Core features frequently just stop working entirely mid-match. Final Verdict If you are a die-hard fan of the franchise, hold off for now. The lack of proper anti-cheat and the sheer volume of technical glitches ruin what could have been a great experience. Wait for major patches before buying.
I played F13 back on the PS4 when it dropped and probably put in close to 200 hours if not more in that game, Hands down the best online gaming experience I ever had and met some great people from that game so when I saw this coming out it was an instant buy for me to hopefully bring back some of the vibes I had back in 2017. The first thing I noticed is this game is NOT optimized at all, I have a 4090 and with DLSS set to Performance I'm getting 50-60 FPS tops, If I go to Quality mode were hitting 30s and you have frequent dips and stutters in this game. Frequent asset pop ins etc. The visuals are nice but not top notch and something a 4060 etc. should be able to run without DLSS, so the game still needs a ton of optimization. When you boot into the game it throws you right into the campaign to help explain the aspect of the game, the campaign is pretty dumb as all your doing is going home to home killing the people inside, all you do is just kill the phone lines and then kill the power, then phase into the house, sneak up behind the person and kill them. It gets boring and repetitive after the first 2 levels. Online is a bit better but not great, If you get a team of people that work together Myers has almost no chance, One game everyone was able to get a weapon within the first 5 minutes of the game, then talk above the shoving, if you get a group that sticks together all they have to do is just start shoving Myers and there is nothing you can do. Overall the game has potential but it needs to be balanced out, IMO this game should have been delayed to work out the bugs and optimize this game, instead the devs choose to release it in its current state to try and rake in sales since were near Halloween. I think a lot of the online issues would have been worked out if they held a beta session. I choose to refund the game and will wait to see if the devs release updates and balance out the gameplay, is the game worth the price right now? No, not in its current state especially if your on a lower spec system (Even consoles are reporting poor frame rate and performance). But I am willing to come back and give it a try again if the game gets the needed updates.
It better then tcm way better then dead by day light if you remember the friday 13th game and enjoy that you enjoy this
Despite the bugs. I really enjoy this game. Its something new and fun. I actually really like the escort missions i mean its hard but beating michael feels easy but that depends who ur going against. I really like the npcs because u still are able to get kills as michael regardless. I think its all in how you play the game.
not a bad game fun with friends story is fine its like the movies but this game needs allot of work bug fixes and the stupid long waiting time online even if you already escaped they need to chance that asap other then that its not bad i just wonder how long this game wil live iiifonic has a bad history with friday the 13th and others like texas hope it lasts longer then those
