Halloween: The Game

Was very disappointed its got heart, some good ideas, but its just gonna be dead very quick. If your a fan of Halloween your probably gonna have fun. I don't feel the quality represents the games price, glad they added a story, but it also feels janky, animations scenes, glitches. Would not recommend save your money unless there's a sale even with patches. I strongly advise anyone interested to really think about this buy as well cause it really is a play once you've seen everything type of game.

Honestly don't see why people are hating on a early access game. Bugs are bound to happen, It will get polished and fixed when the game fully releases. I haven't experienced a issue with the game so far, not a single bug. The game is kind of difficult if your playing as Myers so i honestly think that's what's turning people away. The combat feels off and strange putting at first but it gets better the more you learn it. Don't see people putting in the time to understand that. The big "Hate on every game that comes out" trend is just getting old. Its not a bad game in any sense its actually really fun to play. If you are someone who played the F13 game and loved it you will diffidently love this game to. I had a similar take when i first hopped in a game, I really just didn't understand how to play Myers at first. After putting in like 15 hours into the game i can honestly say its not a bad game. Myers is fun to play, The Survivors are fun to play. Definitely play the story mode first it really helps launch you into how to play Myers and some of his key features. This game will for sure have a active fan base that loves the Halloween films once the people who are here to meat ride the game for content are gone. Overall I would give the game a 7/10. until the full release it will probably go up

This is defiantly more of a stealth strategy version of friday 13th. different to just a hunt and kill asap and im all for it

Halloween Kills

Was the game worth $60? 🚫 No. Did my friends and I spend $60 on the game because we all had the whole weekend off for once and wanted to take advantage of that and have fun together? ✅ Yes. Overall I will say the game is fun if you play it with friends. If you plan on playing it solo or don’t care about having access to the game early, I’d say just get it for $40 or wait for a sale. The game does have a fair amount of jank and glitches. If your tolerance for that is low, then definitely wait for a sale, maybe by then they will fix some of the issues. If you are impatient like me and my friends and are desperate for a new co-op to play together because there are hardly any new co-op games coming out and you are bored of the ones you’ve been playing for the last 10 years then you probably already paid the $60. I just hope this one doesn’t get abandoned and shutdown like Friday the 13th did. My friends and I really enjoyed playing that together and I’m glad there is finally something similar to play together again. What needs improvement: - Performance optimization - Animation glitches - NPC AI (NPCs have ran away at Mach speed the opposite direction of the escape I just opened and got their self killed) In my nearly 8 hours of playtime I only crashed once, and only disconnected once, and I haven’t encountered that many glitches. Not sure if I’ve just gotten lucky or what. If you are crashing a lot, I highly recommend updating your BIOS, especially if you have an Intel 13th or 14th generation CPU. My friends and I all have Intel 13th/14th gen CPUs and we used to crash a lot on almost every game until we updated our BIOS and now we pretty much never crash on any game anymore.

Friday the 13th the game walked so this could run. I'm liking what I'm seeing though for sure, I'll take any OG horror slasher games I see. I understand currently with early access there is a few noticeable bugs and low end optimization but there is a promised patch on release 4 days from now.

It seems like a reboot of Friday the 13th...pathetically so. The story mode is fun for certain, you do essentially get to play out the movie. Multi player I just don't know what to think; most players are meming the whole match and the few killers I have gone up against simply stand around doing nothing. Looks like I got took again. :(
