Oh my god this ♥♥♥♥ is so awesome. Astonishingly faithful replication of the original movie’s feel with an immense amount of respect and detail, along with being an extremely interesting, unique, and exciting multiplayer game. Illfonic is at the top of their game with this one.
It's kinda broken atm but it's like Friday the 13th all over again: fun as hell

disapointment
boring
The state of this game is everything wrong with the gaming industry. You are sold an idea, one that should be pretty cool in theory and that you want to be fun but instead what youre given is a bare bones, half assed, hardly even playable game. It shouldnt be legal to sell something with such little content, even more so when it barely functions enough to play. Even if you do find a match that everyone stays in youll quickly realize this game has 3 almost identical levels that are tiny where most of your time will be spent searching for a needle in a haystack while doing the laziest implemented minigames ive ever seen in my life. They have the audacity to charge $40 for this while locking the other 4 characters behind a paywall. You might as well just take $40 and burn it, youll get more value than buying this. Seriously i wish i could get a refund. You will regret buying this game trust me. Even if the game worked i dont think theres much fun to be had here.
It is an interessting game, not just running around playing hide and seek. Alerting residents, calling the police, use of vehicles, tools and the most satisfying thing, taking a baseball, a brick, even a medkit or a gun and throw it at michael :) Honestly it is fun to play and while dead and spectating you can give the remaining players buffs after doing some minigames.
Released as a horrible buggy mess. Countless game breaking bugs like Michael becoming straight up invisible or the game saying that you struggled out when you didn't, the game saying you respawned as Dr. Loomis when you just don't. Go to a strip club or something with the $60 you'd spend on this game, you'd have more fun. Bussy squirters for life.
At times this game is just as hilarious, janky, and crazy as Friday the 13th... but sadly, overall it's just not as good and can be painful to play without friends or when nobody in the lobby has a mic. The biggest problems that really hold the game back from its potential: 👎 Looting/character animations are downgraded from F13 👎 Maps all look and feel similar, need more open spaces 👎 Too many new items/objectives make gameplay confusing 👎 NPCs are an interesting concept but having to focus on saving them instead of escaping is tedious and takes the thrill out of escaping 👎 Post-escape/death minigames that take up your whole screen and prevent you from cycling to the next player in spectator mode are annoying -- especially when you only have like a 1 in 20 chance to respawn as the cops 👎 and worst of all, going from 7v1 to 4v1 completely kills the party game vibe. F13 was simple with a brilliant gameplay loop. A few items/weapons, a couple escapes (all of which required items to unlock), traps laid by Jason that needed to be avoided/countered, wild vehicle chases to the exits, and the extra option for hardcore players to find Jason's randomly spawned shack, come back from the dead, and kill him. The loop in Halloween just aint it. Calling the police over and over again, telling NPCs to hide or rushing them to exits, being forced to play minigames after you escape, having to manage perk cards in a popup window in the middle of gameplay, it's all just meh... even arresting Michael isn't anywhere near as rewarding as killing Jason. This game should have simply been an F13 reskin with DLSS/ultrawide support, bug fixes, more maps, and new skins to unlock; yet, Gun and Illfonic have once again tried to reinvent the wheel and chase after the 4v1 format that made DbD so popular... the result? An average game that will likely be dead within the year... exactly like what happened with their last game, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Honestly, the Evil Dead game with all its flaws was more fun than this and some random dev recreating F13 in Roblox called "1981" with all the original assets is more exciting than any future this game has... that is, unless Gun quickly adds some new modes with bigger lobbies that play more like F13 or even DbD's new 2v8 mode... spoiler: based on their history, they won't.
Plutot bon , mais pas mal de beugues qui rendent pas mal de parties injouable se qui par consequant ne justifie pas du tout son prix
