Hacknet is an immersive, terminal-based hacking simulator for PC. Dive down a rabbit hoIe as you follow the instructions of a recently deceased hacker, whose death may not have been the accident the media reports.

Hacknet feels like sitting at a computer late at night trying to solve something you are not supposed to see. You spend most of the game in a terminal, typing commands and figuring things out step by step. At first it feels confusing, then it clicks, and that feels good. The story comes through emails and small details, which makes it feel personal instead of forced. There is no rush. You think, try, fail, and learn. The simple visuals keep you focused on the work. If you like puzzles, investigation, and learning systems by doing, Hacknet is easy to get pulled into.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a really fun game! When I first played this I didn't expect to be emotionally hit in VERY meta ways. I also enjoyed the tense missions like CCCHacksquad and The final mission. The DLC with kaguya was also great, Probably one of the best parts of this game. Some things we're a little bit difficult for people who don't exactly know how computers work but I believe most people will fine enjoyment out of it anyways. (8/10) Would Reccomend.
