Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TLDR: Stop giving me healing items 10 seconds into the game or on level up, and speed everything up, The point of these games is to get stronger, doesn't matter what my HP is if i'm covering the screen in death. There's something here, it could be a solid game for the price but as of now, its basically a chore to play this. The biggest flaw in the game to me is the leveling/itemization. My first run I went 3 minutes of only getting items that healed me or gave me armor, armor makes it so instead of taking HP damage you just lose 1 point of armor, but that doesn't matter since you get stuck on enemies due to how many spawn and how slow you move. Getting more damage is so scarce that I couldn't be bothered to unlock the other classes, upgrading your existing items in any other game like this increases its stats but at one point i had a lvl 6 or so bow all it did was fire more projectiles that did the same damage as if it was level 1 so the more difficult enemies would at best take 24 damage instead of the base 12.
Look, I'm sorry, I don't want to offend the dev but this game is not ready for any kind of sale yet.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Why, oh why? Why do certain bullet heaven shooters insist on having the player and enemies move so slow that their animations make it feel like they're trying to walk on ice? Hack and Shoot Heroes is just mechanically not satisfying, because after a minute or two the enemy count is not really manageable anymore in terms of kills, but the player has to slowly walk around them and herd them. This would be done by an otherwise not unpleasant twin-stick combat where the movement and the aiming are done separately, albeit the aiming can only go in 4 directions for some reason, and having to manage WASD + the arrows on keyboard is certainly no fun - arm yourself with a gamepad here if possible. The player stays weak in these relatively short matches, and only after unlocking a dozen permanent upgrades or more and with lucky RNG on the in-match drops that the attack speed and power can get somewhat satisfying - but even then the game feels slow. It's supereasy to die, unless you happen to unlock the OP health steal, which is basically a fast and unlimited supply of health with such enemy counts. The game's visuals and style are also not all that exciting, though it gets better with later stages and unlockable characters at least. Game isn't too polished either, with various menu inputs not correctly working the first time, various hit detection issues, and the game sometimes not pausing during the unlock phase. Amusingly enough, a bug today on launch day unlocked almost every achievement after a minute of gameplay or so, and it took me less than 2 hours to clear up the rest. All in all, there's many better alternatives if you crave for more bullet heaven. Bullet Heaven Fandom review #37. OK so I changed my very negative comment to a less negative comment now because I noticed a few things. The game IS fun. Its well crafted and pretty. But the things that are buggy about it are just really unacceptable for a game in EA even. The following things need to be fixed: Base movement speed needs to be raised on all heroes on their starting stats. Significantly. Because even with the movement speed upgrade maxed while in a level...its too slow to avoid ANY of the first bosses green projectiles. In fact, the boss comes wayyy too soon considering the imbalance of stats heroes have compared to the boss's movements and stats. You get stuck regularly on the glitchy screen and cant go up or down sometimes for no reason.
Hated it.
VS like under valium... Hoping that he gets better...But after many updates nothing change.
I would struggle to find a slower paced survivors game than this. Sure these games are supposed to be slow but this one is sleep inducing. - There is a lot wrong with the game, once you go to the character selection menu you can’t go back. - Once you pick a character you can’t go back to the character screen, so if you messed up you have to close and reopen the game. - There is no settings menu. - When you get hit your character doesn’t make a sound, there is no screen shake, there’s no quick red flash or effect, all you see is tiny text saying -1 hp and if you’re hitting a lot of enemies it’s hard to see tiny text like that. - Aiming is manual but can only aim in four axis like binding of isaac but they fly perfectly straight so you can’t hit diagonal. Then you have a melee attack that can only hit left or right. But that doesn’t stop the enemies from being able to shoot at an angle. - All passives from level ups are so minor they may as well not exist, move speed 5%, crit chance 3%, and the runs only last 12 minutes. There isn’t enough time in a run to build these to a satisfying enough level to bother picking them. - Weapon evolutions require you to collect a shopping list of items. For example, to get a fire thrower you also need to get the shield, old script, and dark iron. When items are given to you at random it gets difficult to intentionally build these let alone accidentally doing it. - Meta progression options are incredibly paltry too. There are five stats, experience gain, max hp, gold gain, attack speed, and inventory capacity. Each gets five levels, the exp gain one is fine 10% a level, hp max gives 0.8 max hp per level, not even an entire point, coin earnings are 10% and fine as is, attack speed is 5% which is fine, and inventory adds five more items you can collect in a run. Each upgrade costs 500 gold so you’ll cap them out in a decent amount of time if you can handle the slow speed. -But the other meta aspect is just unlocking characters and they’re bought through gold and are prohibitively expensive. You’ll be playing the knight for quite a long time before you even get a new character. I can't recommend buying this when there are survivors games that are the same price or less and offer more, Scarlet Tower for example.
