Devs love their generative ai. Game was cool and fun. Can't recommend supporting the ai slop though.
If Risk of Rain 2 and Borderlands had a child but the child turned out to be a furry artist. Actually really fun and addicting gameplay. Smooth and satisfying reload animations, and flashy combat. Though, movement can feel stiff as your character isn't very fast, and dashing doesn't take you very far either. Nevertheless, if you have an FPS itch and like roguelikes, you might enjoy this.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Undisclosed AI art use, in emoticons and promo material from the devs. Until steam updates the store page with that info the reviews are the only notice. Keep this as a heads up that the steam ai banner isnt the end all be all for finding it, unfortunately.
Undisclosed AI Use. I shouldn't have to look into community reviews to find this out. The world would be better without slop AI.
one of my favorite games of this style, def worth it if you can afford the game and it's dlcs and i honestly find myself coming back to this game much more often than with ror2 recent reviews mention ai generated art but i haven't personally seen any ingame yet, but if they end up being true, it would be pretty disappointing considering they've been making actual art for the game for a while
One of the few games I write a review on. This is easily in my top 10 games ever. Its colorful, simple, and too the point. The art style is charming, the characters are all cute, the guns are all fun to use. I hope this game keeps getting updated for a long time.
First couple days were alright. -The core loop is very repetitive. This feels like it needs something more than what it has to give, like additional map options to mix things up, but I don't want to downvote it cause I see promise, and it's kind of fun. -Most guns are viable to a point, but every run kind of feels like the same run, and that bothers me. -Most of the characters are locked behind paid DLC and that also bothers me. -Haven't tried MP yet... soon I guess. I'm still deciding if it's worth full price or not. I would definitely get it on a sale if you have friends to play with, but if you don't have people to play with it might be a little hard to convince yourself to push that next run.

Really fun game, but I am not supporting generative AI.
One of my favorite games but I can't recommend it in good faith due to the devs using generative AI for art assets in recent patches. A couple threads on Reddit exist discussing this issue over the last year
