Absolutely phenomenal on the steam deck. Need more controller supported MMOs

Lost all my progress on survivor title because the game disconnected, my internet connection was fine! the game just dissconnected and then failed to reconnect. So many hours of my time wasted.

The game is a CORPG meaning instanced worlds with potential to party up rather than a pure MMO. Instead of rows of abilities like other MMOs, the game limits your abilities to 8 that you can change around in towns and outposts to focus on different builds similar to magic the gathering. The ability to use Henchmen and Heroes with the possibility of using your own created characters or guild member's characters as heroes makes this game great to play even if solo. And that's not mentioning the impeccable ost, quests, story and overall atmosphere. Absolute all-timer.

Returning player after 20 years, trying reforged. Just like I remember it, still very fun. The instanced nature of this game makes it easy to play in small sessions which is useful.

Guild Wars is still as good as it was, and has gotten a bit of modern QOL that helps you out roaming with your few buddies as the playerbase is scattered here and there, each of them doing their own thing. However, you've done it all, seen it all, and now get the option to kick back with your feet up mid-mission with some new helpers. Then there are those who think this is unacceptable. Completely ruining the spirit of the game. They are like parents who played baseball as kids, raised by ex-military distant fathers who had The Regime, and everything beyond that was simply not allowed. So when the water bottle salesman shows up on the other side of the field, they go berserk. How dare they spoil this noble sport with WATER. Back when they were young, they kept playing, dehydrated and still looking for their father's approval. But their father never went to see their games, no, there was a drought there as well. In this analogue, the "father" can be their self-image as a gamer, or some misguided interpretation that you are competing with every other player in every game that you play. With the illusion that there is any special reward at the end for toughing it out like a numpty. Let people buy their bottle of water while they play. That's not paying for winning.

They don't make them like this anymore. All modern devs know is agenda push, make everything lame, loot boxes, put a chick in it, and abolish the white race. You can tell this game was made by nerds.
