Dear ANET Dev, Play your game at a new player stats in Lake DOric. Get killed by one shot npc while playing a Dragonhunter level 80 Exotic Zerker gear. also the trash mob are so many that you don't have time to heal. GG on the most DxxShxt game play. No wonder only a few plays in Lake Doric. When Lake Doric was new, many players was on the map which made the game play much better., but now when players are far and few, it's not like it use to be. PLAY YOUR GAME and at a noob level of gear.

First played GW2 back in 2012, but took a decade break. Fast forward to 2022, I decided to try and recover my account since I stopped using the email linked to my Arena.Net account. I had the physical box of the game and that helped a lot! Arena has some of the best customer support ever, and I was able to get my old account back under a new email! I took another break from the game and came back in 2026, but this time I played through Steam. You can actually get around the Steam account version of the game by using a simple launch command, just type -provider Portal in the advanced launch box, and you will be able to log into an existing Arena.Net account instead of being forced to use your Steam account to play. (This will only be of use to people who played the game before it came to Steam.) The game is F2P, but it also has expansions and cosmetic/time saver items. I don't mind the monetization, but I don't agree with needing to pay for extra inventory/bank slots and character creation slots. This was the best looking MMO of its time, in my opinion. I remember the first time I played it was on a crappy pre-built PC, and now I can crank the ever-living-skritt out of the graphics! 8K Ultra is a lot better than 720p low... If I tried to write a review for everything this game offers, I'd be better off writing a book about it. But in short, it's not your average MMO. You get rewarded for just being present during an open world raid. You don't need to worry about your gear being replaced by future content, because the game has horizontal progression. That's how it should be.
