Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

GTFO is definitely not a game for everyone. While it has an interesting hardcore co-op concept and a great atmosphere, I found the actual gameplay experience frustrating and repetitive. The biggest problem for me was the repetitive gameplay loop. After a while, missions start feeling like the same cycle of sneaking around, dealing with enemies, searching for objectives, and repeating the process. The weapon selection also feels weak and unsatisfying. Many of the guns lack the punch and variety I'd expect from a game that relies so heavily on combat. The sentries are another disappointment. They often feel dumb and unreliable rather than useful tactical tools. The bot AI isn't much better either, with some pretty questionable behavior that can make playing without a full human squad unnecessarily frustrating. Then there's the connection/co-op experience. I had multiple issues connecting to other players, which is especially problematic because GTFO is designed almost entirely around teamwork. When the multiplayer connection doesn't cooperate, a huge part of the game simply falls apart. The missions can also be extremely confusing. The game doesn't always do a great job of communicating what you're supposed to do, where you need to go, or how certain objectives work. While some players may enjoy figuring everything out themselves, I often found it more frustrating than rewarding. That said, I can understand why some people love GTFO. Its oppressive atmosphere, difficulty, and emphasis on communication can create some genuinely intense moments. But this is absolutely not a game for everyone. If you enjoy extremely difficult co-op games, slow tactical gameplay, repetition, and figuring things out through trial and error, you'll probably have a much better time. For players looking for varied combat, strong AI, straightforward objectives, and a smoother multiplayer experience, GTFO can be a very frustrating game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This could be described as my favourite cooperative game at the moment, and eventually finishing it may be my proudest accomplishment in gaming.
Some levels are deliberately dragged out(you search for single object without any hints even about its appearance and it's not even highlighted or search for 12 things all over a huge map. both cases took me hours even in squad). The game is hard only because developers made too much enemies which are pretty stupid though they see you anywhere(Ammunition is very limited) and gets pretty boring very fast. Only positive side is a wide selection of weapons. Conclusion: in my opinion GTFO is really bad. Is it hard? Yes. But developers made it hard by making it unplayable. it's difficulty and non-rewarding gameplay will make you want to quit and delete instead of trying further. Even tutorial is ridiculously useless and overly complicated(again, deliberately) for most newcomers. Highly don't recommend buying it. It's not worth it at all.
It's basically playing Left 4 Dead on hard except every level is a small corridor and every enemy is the witch and any movement whatsoever sets her off and also every level is pitch black and you're not allowed to edit the brightness/gamma settings from the lowest possible level. --- So I get that the game is supposed to be dark and they've intentionally excluded any actual video settings for this, but like... do the devs know how computer monitors work? You get that my monitor might not be like your monitor right? And that my eyeballs might not be your eyeballs? Because the game is legitimately almost completely pitch black and I cannot see *anything*, and I'm not sure if I can be assed enough to create a separate profile for this game in my monitor to debug this until I can actually just see anything in the game. --- Like if I went and made my own version of Left 4 Dead where my gimmick is that you ride a lawnmower and I programmed dynamic sound technology where it continuously plays an 85 dB loop of a lawnmower and it didn't let you turn the game volume down because it's part of the intended experience to get hearing damage whether it's playing on TV speakers, earbuds, or in a headset, you get how this is the exact same thing right? I'll probably try playing this game again if I like download a mod or see if there's an easy fix to adjust on my monitor because the game is legitimately near unplayable out-of-the-box.
games kind of bad. weapons feel extremely weak and gunplay is is pretty bad, it is suppose to be a stealth game, which feels odd since you cannot see a thing in game and the enemys will get alerted to you pretty much no matter what you do. iv tried it multiple times since release and could never bring my self to try more then a couple matches at time so im sure im missing key stuff that you get later on but it just feels like it wants you to be a stealth player but has a bunch of defense areas where you have to waste all your ammo holding a position for a few minutes which would be fun to actually mow through these creatures but the gunplay just doesnt make satisfying. its also kind of a dead game. this is the first time i seen theplayer counter around 1k in years so i figured id try my luck in finding a match and was able to find 1.
