it's so good. i love eating gruel.

this game exceeded all my expectations and immediately managed to break into my rotation of "games i just boot up for the hell of it". the gameplay loop is just really good and punchy and i cant think of a good segway so i'm just going to list random ♥♥♥♥ i like THE BIG ONE: no logos no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ no intro nothing, you open the game and it just starts -no getting lost -extremely good artstyle and music -there seems to be a hidden "comeback" mechanic (i somehow survive at 1hp often) -sauces are good modifiers and enabling them all at once is fun, most of them have inbuilt ways to play around them -the difficulty never feels mean-spirited yea its good buy it

Strangely addictive. Strange because it is quite simple in both game play and visual appeal. Finishing 3 room levels ends at a store where you can select from three new weapon attack possibilities, then select from three new variable level enhancements and a table to buy more heals, repairs, etc. then finally gamble on the outcome ... and begin the next 3 levels. I have not gotten very far on this route but then neither have many in the global leaders board. I think it may go from challenging to no fun too quickly. But then it could be my lack of in game figuring it out.

i don't know why there isn't so many videos talking about this game. this game is PEAK. all i wish for more lore and mods for the game. just give BRUTAL GRUEL and me life is yours. 100/10 STARS
