Can’t get past the start screen because it crashes, so I have no idea how it plays. Bummer cause I was really looking forward to it too!
Awesome Survival Game, Get the Sequel
Awesome game with a really fun concept and execution -- great to play when it came out, but now that the sequel is out there is no reason to go back. The sequel is bigger and better in every way. Buy to support the devs, but play the sequel.
So, I love open world survival craft games. I love Rick Moranis. I grew up watching Honey I Shrunk the Kids and the sequels. All of that is to say... I love Grounded. Grounded manages to capture everything good from the open world survival genre, and mix it into a world clearly themed after a classic franchise. It excites me to be amongst this world that's bigger than life and battle it out with creatures that make me feel like I need to grow stronger and learn to play smarter without the feel so many other open world survival games run into of 'At some point there's no getting past this.'. This is a love song to a genre and an idea made into a game, I feel like. And I want to hear it again and again.
