What a beautiful game, Rick and Morty collab would be great for this game playing as Evil Morty someday or even Mr. Frundles would be dope on this game.
This game is immediately addictive! Also I was impressed by the animation and the art style. It feels like a nod to Rick and Morty & the Simpsons and has that addicting vampire survivor loop with a wacky twist.
JUST AMAZING GAME. I started playing aand couldnt stop this!

♥♥♥♥ man, Acclaim is back!!! If you just want to know about this game: it's fine. One of those. Does literally nothing new. But that's not what makes it fun. It is just....I mean this is peak Acclaim. It's a copy of something superior with very few ideas of its own that somehow survives in that it's made for t h o s e kids. The ones that shunned the Disney Afternoon for Ren and Stimpy and Beavis & Butthead. No Simpsons, but King of the Hill. They bring a Newgrounds confidence to a Triple-A fight. It's garish. It's bright. It's all slightly off-kilter. Feels like it was made in an afternoon and is barely held together by shoestring and the gum on the Inside-A-Mall Pizza Hut parking lot. A weekend rental that years later you go "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ those were fun days"
What I like about Ground Zero Hero is that there are a LOT of, mutants aliens, and they’re all really cool and have their own special abilities. The mutations are awesome too. Pusdaddies, Chicken Butt, all those mutations are just… wow. Very good. It's not Fortnite. 9 out of 10
Beneath a sky where dead stars crawl, And ancient shadows crown the fall, The sirens choke, the heavens tear, Something old awakens there. From poisoned earth and atom flame, A nameless hunger calls your name. The bunker doors have rusted red, Yet stranger things outlive the dead. They whisper underneath the stone, In tongues no living throat has known. They watched mankind ignite the sun, And laughed to see what we had done. Still through the wastes, one figure goes, Where blackened wind and madness blows. No chosen king. No sacred sword. Just blood, bad luck, and one more horde. The creatures rise. The bullets sing. The void unfolds on broken wings. And somewhere past the mushroom glow, Great eyes awaken far below. Run if you must. Fight if you dare. The end of the world is already there. For when the final bunker falls, And something answers mankind's calls, The stars themselves shall disappear... Yet still we stand. GROUND ZERO HERO. There are worse things than the apocalypse. And you just woke them up.
Super fun! I really like the design and gameplay. Feels balanced overall, but enough difficulty to stay engaged and keep trying to improve.
Ground Zero Hero has a fantastic sense of humor and is an absolute blast to play. It keeps me on my toes with a great amount of variety and a vibrant, quirky art style. Every playthrough feels like a completely different experience, giving the game plenty of replay value. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Fell in love with the art first. That scrappy hand-drawn 90s cartoon look, real Rick and Morty energy, gross-out mutants and bulging eyes. Then the wasteland grabs you: absorb guts, mutate into something horrible, cram candy, go bonkers. Genuinely funny, genuinely chaotic.
This game is just awesome! Had a lot fun tha last 30 mins. I really loved the Rick and Morty style!
