Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1786.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 17.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

look i thought this was about depression at first and i was like yep yep yep that ♥♥♥♥ changes form whatever you do whatever you say it's just gonna adapt like the worst amoeba in the world to keep hunting you down and dude i figured out at the last second this girl lost her ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mom and i've been crying for like ten minutes anyway the music was great the mechanics were kinda grating but the art went absolutely insane i'm gonna lay down
GRIS is a beautiful and deeply emotional experience. What I liked the most was its story and the way it is told without relying heavily on dialogue. The art style is absolutely stunning, with every scene feeling like a carefully painted piece of artwork. The atmosphere, music, colors, and animation all work together perfectly to create an emotional journey. The gameplay is simple but enjoyable, and it never takes away from the story or the visual experience. If you enjoy games with beautiful art, emotional storytelling, and a relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend giving GRIS a try. It’s a short but memorable experience that feels more like playing through a piece of art than simply playing a game.
Geiler Titel!
If you liked Evangelion, you will likely love this game. I didn't like Evangelion. This is essentially just a walking simulator with no stakes at all. Imagine playing Limbo but you take away the horror aspect of it. You can't lose, die, or get hurt in any way. Even the one time in the whole game were you need to act a certain way to "not get hurt", "getting hurt" changes absolutely nothing about it. You just push forward and the story will progress. The story is not truly deep, but more so surreal, while also being extremely easy to understand... Which I would call abstract, but so simple that it pains me to even call it that way... The artstyle is extremely pretty and the music is good ambiance music... but it's just that, ambiance music. It's like this game was a moving painting with music in the background. Not bad, but not really a game either. I couldn't find any "fun" in a game that just became a push forward simulator. This game is not memorable at all, which would be the main takeaway from a game so focused on its story, so if it even failed at that, then it failed miserably and it truly hurts to say this because Devolver Digital is one of my favorite game develepors/publishers.
GRIS is one of those games that stays with you long after you put the controller down. The art is stunning in a way that feels handmade. Every screen looks like a watercolor painting that somehow started moving. The colors are not just pretty, they actually carry the story. As the world slowly fills back in, you feel it. The soundtrack by Berlinist is incredible. It does not just sit in the background. It lifts the whole experience. There are quiet stretches that hit just as hard as the big musical moments. The gameplay is simple and elegant. Platforming feels smooth, the puzzles never get in the way, and nothing feels padded. Everything has this calm, flowing rhythm that matches the mood perfectly. What really makes GRIS special is how it talks about grief without saying a word. No cutscenes explaining things. No text dumping emotion on you. Just movement, color, and sound. And somehow that is more honest than most games that try to be deep. I finished it and just sat there for a bit. Not because it was sad exactly. Because it was beautiful and it got under my skin. If you have not played it yet, do yourself a favor. If you already have, it is worth another run. GRIS is one of the most gorgeous and sincere games I have ever played.
Jogo maravilhoso!!! Recomendo 100000000%
Zufällig in meiner Bibliothek wiedergefunden...
