LimboLane is a creative duo making silly games that squish and bounce, comprised of designer Day Lane and animator Yugo Limbo. They have a love for the kitschy, the surreal, and the utterly bizarre. Their nod-and-shake adventure game Smile For Me was self-published on Steam in 2019 and re-released for consoles in 2023.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, GOG, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

It's charming. Love all the character designs and the gods are all fun. There was one or two moments where I didn't quite catch on to what I was supposed to 'say' to someone, but in retrospect they make sense, so no real 'moon logic' situations. Definitely recommend.
Oh man i dont know what to say other than its awesome and i love the design/characters/message and story. love the worldbuilding you can gather throughout the game with not a lot of information on it. I first played 'smile for me' because i really like the style of artwork and the gameplay. im a big sucker for real feeling characters and original designs. its also not the hardest puzzle game but it definitelty makes you think enough to get frustrated LMAO.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Initially bought this game out of boredom and frankly didn't expect much out of it. But the writing and graphics are absolutely phenomenal. I'm in love with every single characters stories, and despite the wacky dialogue and premise, this game was able to make me feel genuinely attached to the story and the relationships each character had. Not to mention the final act was, while not necessarily entirely unexpected, was surprising enough to give me a good gasp. Absolutely in love with this game, and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys it's genre.
TL:DR; A short, fun, creative, occasionally experimental light puzzle game. If you like Toby Foxes work in Undertale/Deltarune, or Double Fines general vibes in their games (especially Pyschonauts 1/2) there's a very good chance you'll like this. Its a light puzzle game with a fun core mechanic- you can pluck words from peoples dialog and fire them at others. This will either cause the plot to move forward, or something funny to happen, so its always at least a little rewarding. If you're willing to slow down and experiment with the dialog-gun you can get quite a lot of fun out of it, but if you're looking for deeper mechanics I'm sad to say that's all there is. I'd say a good chunk of the comedy works, but there are a handful of jokes that will age out in a few years or you won't get at all unless you're well-versed with certain websites. I'm loathe to say this- but I don't recommend the game at full price. I can tell it was made with a lot of heart and passion but at almost £20 I can recommend a dozen games off the top of my head with much more content or replayability. If you're on a tight budget but like the look of it, maybe wait for a sale as I did. I eagerly await their next work!
LOVVVVEEEEEEEE
Awesome
This Truly Was... a Great God Grove.
Fun writing. Bad game. Controls too fiddly. Puzzles are trial and error.
I LOVED THIS GAME!!!! i had been wanting to buy it for a WHILE and i bought it just a day ago, it did not disappoint, i abasolutely loved every single one of the characters but specially Huzzle mug and Alexei, not only is the story good, but the message? LOVED ITTT, seems like the creators of this game are INFORMED!! best game ever totally recommended
This game is "egg-cell-entre" - as a member of the grove might say. ;) It was quirky, heartfelt, charming, and fun. The writing and art style was engaging and intriguing, and I found it the progression of game play to be just the right amount of challenging. This one stands out to me because of the creative ways in which it expresses themes about creating with others for the sake and love of it, not for fame or for money; for coming together with your community despite differences and finding forgiveness even when people make horrible mistakes. Oh, and this game doesn't give an eff about gender norms and highlights loving LGBTQ relationships, which was validating to see. I'm pretty much a sucker for games about delivering mail/helping people communicate too apparently (I've loved every one I've played), and if you are too, this is one you cannot miss!
