Welcome to the asteroid belt. The work is dangerous, the asteroids are temporary, and Earth is prohibitively expensive. Build automated mining operations, complete contracts, and earn your way back home.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 29 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
And make money while doing so! Astronomics is an asteroid mining automation game where every operation is temporary, every asteroid is different, and every haul gets you one step closer to home.
Procedurally generated asteroids pass through your mining claim, bringing new opportunities (and challenges) with every expedition. Intercept them with your Freighter, pilot your Shuttle to the surface, and establish an operation before the asteroid moves out of range. Time is Cube Corp Credits, you know.
Find valuable resources, build mining infrastructure, and dispatch Workerbots to transport materials around the asteroid. As your operation grows, automate extraction and logistics to get more done before time runs out. Then bring everything back to your Freighter for manufacturing before selling your goods at Cube Corp.
Every asteroid is a new operational puzzle. Explore procedurally generated environments, discover resources, and decide how much infrastructure you can build. And how much you can realistically get out before the asteroid leaves your claim.
Start by gathering resources yourself, then build toward a fully automated operation.
Explore passing asteroids and discover their unique resources, properties, and challenges.
Build mining infrastructure to extract resources while the asteroid is within your claim.
Deploy Workerbots to transport materials and keep your operation moving.
Command your bots with your Command bot and organize increasingly complex logistics.
Automate extraction and transportation to get more resources with less manual work.
Defend your equipment from the pirates who would rather take your hard-earned resources for themselves.
Plan around changing conditions as procedurally generated asteroids put your operational skills to the test.
As your mining operation becomes more sophisticated, you'll have to think beyond simply finding resources. What should be automated? Where should your bots go? What equipment is worth bringing? Did you totally forget a Workerbot on that last asteroid? Whoops. Ok, how much can be extracted with the current equipment before the asteroid is gone?
Complete contracts throughout the belt, taking on jobs ranging from data collection and search-and-rescue operations to equipment manufacturing.
Then use your earnings to upgrade your equipment and expand your Freighter. As your gathering capabilities grow, you'll need more manufacturing capacity to process materials. And protect yourself from the pirates who also want your materials.
Explore a vast map of asteroid regions, discover new resources and challenges, expand your operation, and take on increasingly ambitious contracts. But don’t forget to keep your eye on the real prize: a Residency Permit on Earth.
Because Earth isn't home anymore. Well, not yet, anyway. The asteroid belt is where the work is. It's where the money is. And if everything goes according to plan, it's where you'll earn enough to finally come home...for the very first time. Good luck!

Simultaneously relaxing and intrieguing. Well designed mechanics, and a variety of tools makes for an experience that is both fun and just challenging enough to be engaging. I really like this game, and I am excited for future updates. Well worth the money, and the work of the dev team thus far, gives me absolute confidence that this game will be finished with quality. So far as early access goes, I believe this is a very safe 'investment'. Works great on Ubuntu 24.04, extremely reliable. I haven't experienced any crashes or any serious bugs.
The first experience, learning how to play and gaining some traction it was a lot of fun. But after a few hours I felt like something is missing. It then began feeling too repetitive. - Is the part of flying towards an asteroid/planet 'minigame' just for avoiding damage? I can land only on one spot anyways - To me it felt like all the asteroids/planets are pretty much the same, the materials/resources don't really have a unique feeling - What happens on an asteroid farming session is too predictable. I expected something like random (rare) drops of something useful - The unlockable extras do not feel that exciting to me, maybe because the loop of grinding for resources felt repetitive This is by no means supposed to be hate or anything, I really enjoyed the other aspects of the game; I also have to add, this game genre is new to me.

As someone who usually sinks hundreds of hours into complex, sprawling settlement builders and deep grand strategy campaigns, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Astronomics. It strips away heavy logistical burdens and delivers a much lighter, more casual approach to automation. The core loop of touching down on passing asteroids, dropping extractors, and linking up monorails is undeniably fun. The mechanics are simple but highly engaging, quickly pulling you into an addictive rhythm of mining resources and upgrading your mobile freighter. It’s absolutely perfect for shorter play sessions when you just want to optimize a quick supply chain without managing a massive, multi-system empire. However, the game eventually runs out of steam. If you're looking for that deep, multi-layered endgame hook that keeps you meticulously tweaking a colony for weeks, you won't find it here. The overarching purpose feels a bit thin, and without grander challenges or deeper systems to master, the short-burst missions start to feel repetitive. It’s a fantastic, stress-free management game for a quick diversion, but after a few hours, you'll likely find yourself ready to move on to something with a bit more meat on its bones.
Its a simple low stress game if you set difficulty to easy and pirate level to 1 and increase time you get to do the asteroids and set time for crafting to fastest. These settings allow you to just zone out and play around while listening to music. Can be very relaxing.
Fun mining game. good vibes, chill times. feel rewarding and scratches my little loot goblin itch.
I came across Astronomics early on into its EA release. It has grown steadily since then and keeps getting better with each update. The game definitely scratches the exploration and mining itch and has consistently been one of my most played games. They’ve recently added liquid extraction and soon to add gas extraction as well. Light combat as well which can be turned off if you don’t want it. Very solid game, with minor EA visual bugs. For me personally there are a couple things that I feel can be balanced/optimized a bit better as it can feel a little grindy at times. I also wish that I could pin missions on to the HUD. Small things that I’m sure will be sorted out before 1.0 release. If I could make 1 gameplay suggestion to the devs that would be, when mining if you don’t clear out the rocks around minerals using the laser before using the tether to remove it from its place, I’d like to see some sort of quantity or quality penalty. I feel like it would had a level of strategy as the player wouldnt be able to let a turret destroy all the rocks if they want to get the most of highest quality item. All in all worth the purchase as it it now. Support the Devs, they deserve it!

For a game that is currently "0.7" in terms of Early Access, it's doing well for itself! The extraction loop of jumping in, sucking an asteroid dry of it's resources (pause) and then getting out of there is an excellent 20-30 min gameplay cycle. Each asteroid makes you plan, calculate and execute your mining operation in a slightly different way with a looming time deadline. Cranes, Monorails, Turrets, and an army of sentient minion-style Roombas help you to immerse yourself in a "Surviving Mars" style operation. Progession is...slow, to say the least. That said, the grind feels good to jump in, mine two asteroids, and jump out - and when you do unlock something good for your Command Bot/Ship/Loadout it does feel good to cut down time on some tasks which means the hard work is worth the reward. Some top reviews have complained about the Manufacturing Bays on the ship taking far too long to produce recipes and I'd completely agree - we shouldn't have to twiddle our thumbs waiting for our Freight Bays to become free. That said, there isn't really much more for me to grumble about at this stage. Game feels solid for something in Early Access, the Pirate/Robot enemies are little more than a slight nuisance, and if the content keeps coming then I think it's in a really good place. Well worth it on a sale, i've put 25 hours in and I don't feel like i've either run out of things to do, but equally nor do I find myself wondering what the end of a revolver tastes like in real life, so it's a nice middle-point for this kind of grindy game. One to keep an eye on, but well worth it in a sale if you fancy it.
9/10 (and I'm pretty sure it's going to be +1 over the course of Early Access) It's basically crack for anyone with only minimal amounts of problem solving capabilities. Crazy well thought out gameplay loop with partial automation and increasing efficiency in mining / harvesting / fighting pirates being the main player progression. The progression felt pretty much like in Astroneer, which is very good. Dev is very active and responsive in Discord.
