About
You are a Living Spark surviving inside fragile wooden vessels that splinter, collapse, and catch fire. When your vessel breaks, the Spark escapes. Death is just a change of scenery.
Ride a cursed elevator into shifting underground ruins with your crew. Smash furniture for resources or feed them into the Grinder for gold. If everyone breaks, your loot is lost.
Trolling can become your friend’s demise. Dropkick enemies or “accidentally” launch your ally’s Spark out of their vessel. Block them in a monster-infested corridor or get stuck in the crossfire. Will your group handle the chaos you created yourselves?
The deeper you go, the worse the Rot becomes. Bodies warp. Voices distort. Emotes become…worse. Or possibly better?
The Deep Layers are filled with Corrupted vessels, reacting to sound, movement, and each other in ways that are impossible to predict. Fight. Build. Run. Panic.
When your vessel breaks, you stay in the run as a Spark. Guide your team through the dark and search for another host with a new set of abilities. Force your way back in before you fade out completely.
Everything you haul back rebuilds your Outpost. Unlock interactive furniture, stat upgrades, rescued survivors, and stranger ways to survive the next descent. The stronger the outpost becomes, the deeper you can afford to go.
Go deeper. Extract more. Leave someone behind. Make it back and build together.
Or don’t come back at all.

Please fix the button to extract. (Maybe put a cover on it? Or make it so you have to hold it down for a few seconds) Also tabbing back into the game... cant tell you how many times I've whacked my friends. Little stupid stuff like that is what is making me shy away from playing. Literally AFK in the elevator and it went up saying we had no survivors- I was murdered and my friends were left behind in the middle of the level. It was my first time but we have all had this experience with Elevator leaving without us being prepared- some of us more than once. We have so much wood to build but cant even buy new weapons for each of us with the shared money. Small things would make this game so much better. Right now I don't want to write it off- but I definitely want to play something else after these mishaps.
пушка) если есть с кем поиграть, то рекомендую однозначно. крайне редко пишу отзывы, но это действительно качественный продукт, который не оставит вас равнодушным

I originally reviewed the Grain Rot demo with mixed feelings. It felt difficult with very little guidance and just seemed impossible to progress, especially solo. Since its release, Grain Rot has completely turned my opinion around: I love this game. I still can't quite do it solo, but with a second player each run goes smoothly even when there's a ton of unpredictable monsters. I say all of this having only gotten to level 6, haha. But even when there are no survivors and you have to start over, the simple thing of keeping your progress and being able to sweep easier levels for weapons and building renovation is amazing. I'm also a big REPO player, and while similar games in nature, Grain Rot gives you things to work toward, build, and constantly improve. It's a challenge, but it's not impossible, and it still gives you that little thrill of fear/adrenaline figuring out where the sound came from.
IT GOOD

My only complaint about this game is that 1. you can't improve the stats of the little bodies by upgrading your base, and 2. The Existence of "Twitch streamer exclusive drops" is kinda gross ngl. Other than that i played this game too completion within 3 days, This game is alot of fun, i still play it once a week or atleast bi-weekly. Fantastic game too play solo. Except for that Giant Manhack enemy who has such good pathing he will run you down across a million hallways and remove your soul, i hate that guy. I assume when they add matchmaking to this game however theres gonna be a bunch of as holes who destroy all your upgrade furniture. Maybe make it so you can set it that other players can't move player built furniture in the hub zone. I haven't played multiplayer, so maybe that's already there. but it should be regardless.
really fun game !!!!
