Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game feels like you're walking through a haunted house. Only the employees attack you. I liked it.
Paie ton SAW : bien gore bien fun trop court....vivement le prochain épisode ^^
Meh, giga meh, turbo meh !

Gore Doctor is a first-person survival horror experience that commits heavily to grotesque imagery, psychological unease, exploration, and violent encounters. The game places players inside a deteriorating medical institute where something has gone catastrophically wrong, turning a location once associated with healing into a disturbing collection of dark corridors, abandoned facilities, gruesome experiments, and unnatural creatures. Developed and published by Salient Games, it is clearly designed for players who enjoy uncompromising indie horror and are comfortable with graphic material. The narrative revolves around a doctor whose life falls apart while desperately trying to save his terminally ill wife, Scarlett. Her death pushes him beyond grief and into obsession, gradually destroying both his sanity and his ethical boundaries. His perception of medicine becomes increasingly corrupted until death itself is treated as a form of release. This background gives the institute's horrifying condition some narrative purpose, allowing the environments and experiments scattered throughout the facility to reflect the doctor's psychological collapse rather than functioning solely as gruesome decorations. Exploration is one of the game's strongest components. The institute feels intentionally hostile, with cramped passages, poorly illuminated rooms, unsettling medical spaces, and disturbing discoveries encouraging cautious movement. Players are rewarded for examining their surroundings because journals, documents, artifacts, and environmental details provide additional information about what happened. Instead of presenting every narrative development directly, the game frequently allows players to reconstruct events through these discoveries. This approach complements the horror because learning more about the institute usually makes the situation increasingly disturbing rather than reassuring. Survival also requires confronting hostile creatures and other grotesque threats. Unlike horror games that leave the protagonist almost completely defenseless, Gore Doctor provides firearms and melee options. Combat introduces a more aggressive dimension without completely removing vulnerability, particularly when enemies appear in confined spaces or resources become a concern. Having weapons creates some confidence, but it does not necessarily make exploration comfortable. The tension instead shifts toward deciding how to handle threats efficiently while remaining prepared for whatever might be waiting deeper inside the facility. The atmosphere benefits greatly from the combination of lighting, environmental design, sound, and creature presentation. Darkened interiors limit visibility, while disturbing noises and visual details constantly suggest that danger may be nearby. The medical theme is particularly effective because recognizable objects and locations are transformed into something sinister. Treatment areas, equipment, experiments, and human remains collectively reinforce the idea that medical knowledge has been twisted into an instrument of suffering. As its title strongly suggests, graphic violence is central to the presentation. Blood, mutilation, body horror, brutal encounters, disturbing experiments, and intentionally shocking scenes appear throughout the experience. The mature material goes beyond conventional monster violence and includes provocative imagery and unusual sexual content involving zombies. This makes the game suitable for a relatively narrow adult audience. Anyone uncomfortable with explicit gore or deliberately offensive horror imagery should approach it cautiously, while enthusiasts of extreme horror will probably consider this commitment part of its appeal. The reliance on shocking imagery occasionally works against the atmosphere. Horror can become less effective when gruesome sights appear frequently enough to become predictable, and Gore Doctor sometimes risks reaching that point. Certain gameplay interactions and combat situations can also reveal the limitations of its indie production. Movement through encounters may occasionally feel less polished than the presentation suggests, while combat does not possess the mechanical depth of a dedicated action game. These shortcomings do not destroy the experience, but they can interrupt immersion during moments that should otherwise be intensely frightening. Another notable aspect of the production is the disclosed use of generative AI. Some paintings and photographs contain AI-generated elements that were subsequently modified, while portions of written material involved generated content that was later edited or rewritten. Players who consider the production methods behind game assets important should therefore factor this into their purchasing decision. Steam Deck compatibility is possible but comes with important caveats. The game provides Linux and SteamOS support, and Steam Deck-specific guidance exists, including recommendations concerning graphical settings. However, complete native controller support is not provided, with a community control configuration recommended instead. This means it should not be regarded as an entirely seamless handheld experience. Players willing to perform some controller configuration should have a more practical path to playing it on Deck, but those expecting effortless console-style controls may find the setup inconvenient. Overall, Gore Doctor works best as a deliberately excessive indie horror game rather than a polished mainstream survival-horror production. Its strongest qualities are the sinister medical environment, disturbing narrative premise, environmental storytelling, oppressive exploration, and willingness to push its imagery into genuinely uncomfortable territory. Combat gives players enough agency to prevent the experience from becoming a simple walking simulator, while scattered narrative material provides motivation to investigate the institute instead of merely escaping from it. Its rougher mechanics and dependence on graphic shock value prevent it from becoming an essential survival-horror title, but its identity is unmistakable. Players looking for subtle psychological horror may find it unnecessarily extreme, whereas fans of bloody, provocative, claustrophobic horror are considerably more likely to appreciate what it attempts. The combination of tragedy, madness, medical experimentation, exploration, and brutal imagery produces a memorable experience despite its technical and mechanical imperfections. Rating: 7/10
