This is one of those games that is for a very niche group of people. It simulates work. So, if that's not your bag, you're probably not going to enjoy this. I, on the other hand, absolutely love this game. I'm a bit late to the party, but in about 3 weeks time I've managed to log about 120 hours into it, and it's safe to say at this point that I'm well addicted. There are a few cons, but they are mostly tolerable. The two biggest issues with the game, imo, is that it will periodically go though a loading phase, and the frame rate chugs to 0 for about 3 seconds. Not a big deal to me. The other big issue, is also kind of a small issue.... Sometimes when I exit the Big Dozer it will spaz out and flip itself into the air. This has happened maybe 3 times, and every time was at OA. There are other weird things about the game, but are cosmetic, so I don't really care. Haines is a creepy ghost town. Not a single NPC. You don't ever get to see your gold. No tailings. T3-T6 washplants are static and cannot be moved. Imo those are the only negative things. There is a "story" but I found it so boring and pointless that I never completed it. Truth be told, if you bought this game it's because you're weird, like me, and you just want to dig up digital gold with your digital excavator....and there's nothing wrong with that.
releasing a 9$ update just for 2 months later to pull a separate 4$ game of GMS1 when GMS2 is maybe coming this year. just tell us you want to make a Kickstarter instead of pulling a sheet over your fans head and calling the same thing new.

great game, broke my back, then almost died to explosives, then my bulldozer broke cause i didnt see it and blew up the explosiuves beside it so had to fix that.

The game seems fun from the mechanics point of view, but the graphics are horrible on ultra. The game keeps buffering while driving, which makes you crash. I installed the game on a M2 SSD and this still happens. Definatively not state of the art in 2026 or even 2017 when the game released. Let's see if they fix those issues with the nr. 2. I feel like I got motion sick from that game, something I am not familiar with. Joystick configuration is only possible after watching a tutorial. I refunded the game.
could be nice if they added a few other loops for survival, but all in all very fun, and strangely addictive.
I WILL not recommend this game to anyone because everything sinks into the ground or it moves everything out of place on all of the other claims. If you don't want to fix this game I wand my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back NOW. THIS GAME IS APPSALUTLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GRABAG
