Train gladiators. Manage a ludus. Fight in the arenas. Conquer the tower. Gods of Sand is a gladiator manager with intense turn-based combat, inspired by the Swords and Sandals series, in a dark and unforgiving setting.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I'm not normally one to leave reviews, but the very first review I read said this game is bs because the final boss is just you. The previous reviewer lost and died. The final boss is not you. There's like 8ish fights in a row leading up to the final boss, 1 of those fights is in fact a slightly weaker clone of you. How you lose to a clone of you that uses abilities in a random order rather than in the most efficient way for the situation is beyond me. Anyway. Games fine. Definitely worth the current $5 sale price. Probably not at full price. Once you win you get something of an Ascension mechanic from STS but there isn't really enough depth to the game to make me want to play it more than the one 6ish hour playthrough. Ability tree is composed of 4 sections, each ones got a few actives and a few passives with some incredibly obvious extreme synergies. The only limiting factor is money which you'll realize about 15 minutes in isn't even a real limiting factor as much as how long you want to sit there and click the same 6 buttons in a row over and over again. It's got good bones and is reminiscent of old school swords and sandles, but again with less depth. Solid way to burn most of a day while i wait on the rest of the september releases this year.

Gods Of Sand é um excelente game de gerenciamento, semelhante ao saudoso game Sword And Sandals, recomendo para que gosta de jogos de gerenciamentos e batalhas por turno. Recomendadíssimo!!!
Cool little game
love this game. Just wish it had more items bosses and places to fight.
Almost done with the game now, gem of a indie if you like management & sim style games. 10/10 recommend probably 8-14 hours of gameplay depending on how fast you play and pick things up to finish game. No complaints. Money well spent for the price, playing on steamdeck also flawless as expected performance wise
Muito bom o jogo, achei que faltou um pouco mais de variedade de armas e habilidades! mas no geral um jogo muito divertido e recompensador. pelo valor um excelente jogo para passar o tempo!
These devs are legendary given the steam early access nightmares, and general lack of accountability from much bigger studios. A few years back, I played this game, and really liked it. Heck, it's only $10. It was pretty much abandoned in 2024, unfinished, and I thought it's just another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA outcome. Out of nowhere, this kingly team (with respect to all who worked on this, essentially one guy at this point) pushes a 1.0 release after 2 years of radio silence. They take accountability in a message in a heartfelt memo: "it's finally here". Definitely worth picking up. We are so back.

It would be better if there were more challenges like animals that attack you on the way to arenas. With that you should add armed escorts in the carpenter shop to ensure safety.
