Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its fine tower defense but who plays something like tower defense in 2018?

God of Failure is a tower defense game where you stop orcs from getting to your castle. The orcs follow a predictable path so you can lay traps and defenses to stop them. Where this game differs from most tower defense games, it has decent 3D graphics for an indy entry (although they don't compare to Orcs Must Die etc). The other key difference is also a problem... instead of defense towers, you can only lay down traps, and the traps don't reset, meaning the game is a constant mess of clicking and rechecking your perfect layouts and redoing everything you already did. This takes away from the general casual "fun" theme of tower defense games (your defenses get weaker rather than stronger as you go along, due to the inevitable pace increase of consecutive waves). Also, some of the tooltips are still in Russian, so the translation work isn't thorough and this detracts from the game. It's not worth paying $5 for a tower defense game that lacks the enjoyment of other tower defense games, so I can't recommend this.
Reseña de God of Failure
