Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Whether you are drawn to the lands of Gloomhaven by the call of adventure or an avid desire for the glimmer of gold in the dark, your fate will surely be the same…
Lead your band of mercenaries through this unforgiving place, where every choice is crucial. Carve your way through terrifying dungeons, dreadful forests and dark caves filled with horrific monsters to reap your rewards… or die trying.
Sell your sword to anyone who can afford it, may they be city officials or corrupt cultists. You are paid to get results and not ask questions. Where will you draw the line?
Gloomhaven is a tactical RPG and a digital adaptation of the ultimate strategy board game by Isaac Childres (the highest-rated board game of all time on ). Set in a unique medieval dark fantasy universe, Gloomhaven rewards strategic planning and problem solving. Face this dark world alone or in online co-op for up to 4 players!
Explore the world in a band of 2 to 4 mercenaries. Each of the 17 unique characters comes with their own skills and more than 1,000 different abilities to master! Prepare your deck of ability cards before setting out to explore the dark caves and dreadful forest of Gloomhaven through quests and events.
Once inside a dungeon, engage in tactical turn-based combat by selecting two cards for each mercenary on every turn. You can only use the top half of one and the bottom half of another, so plan accordingly!
Move up your hired blades on the hex grid terrain to take advantage of the dungeon’s environment. Set up deadly combos and unleash devastating powers but be wary of the cost. Cards are a resource as scarce and crucial as your life points, so watch out for exhaustion. Every choice has life or death consequences.
Hone your abilities during the game with enhancements and perks, while your power increases with level ups and new equipment. You need every advantage you can to survive here. So, gear up your band of mercenaries, chase powerful artifacts, buy the favor of the Great Oak, and never let your guard down.
Adapted from the original Gloomhaven Board Game, this branching campaign of 95 story missions pits your greed against your morality. Many powerful opponents are vying for control over the city of Gloomhaven while others are looking for ancient crypts and forgotten artefacts. You could always side with the inhabitants, but it may not pay well…
Whatever your path may be, it will be paved with difficult choices.
Created in collaboration with the community during the early access, the Guildmaster adventure has more than 160 digital exclusive missions that allow you to experience another facet of Gloomhaven with new storylines, quests, map and NPCs.
Lead your guild of mercenaries in a region overrun by unspeakable things, far worse than simple bandits.
Choose the best combination of mercenaries for each fight and follow their character stories in this deadly new territory.

Me and my buddies played the board game practically every weekend for hours. We did not get to finish the campaign due to a member emigrating to Canada from England. But we all bought this, either through Steam or Xbox, and we have been having a great time for a couple of years on this! Also helps with those 'grey area' rules from the board game. If you're into board games but struggle to attend in person sessions. I HIGHLY rate recommend this!
very buggy. often stuck in a player turn in multiplayer and unable to continue. for example after selecting an item to use and backing out it just gets stuck and you cannot go forward or back and you cannot rejoin multiplayer in the middle of a quest. Difficulty issues with some quests (windswept highlands for example) are unbeatable on the easiest difficulty with the most assist options on for the average player. Setting up the coolest cards, having the enemies in perfect position, burning a bunch of items only to roll a miss leads to wanting to restart the turn to avoid bad RNG and pick a meh move to wait for next turn. Not really interested in save scumming just to have a "somewhat ok" time playing the game. It is fun in some places but so immensely frustratingly broken in others that I often quit the game for weeks at a time... which isn't what I want from a game.

Multiplayer completely broken. Game abandoned for new project which also has issues with multiplayer! Waste of time and energy.
I am having difficulties to get motivated to continue playing Gloomhaven after 20 h. The game is not bad, it just feels repetitive. The quests / scenarios are very simple and repetitive, the Enemy variations are mainly simple stat differences, and my own characters develop too slowly to make me feel the change in my play style. I keep repeating the exact same tactics with the exact same cards again and again.
Bonkers in all the best ways possible
When you see a board-game adaptation on Steam, you probably imagine something like a digitized Catan , Carcassonne, or Wingspan (and god forbid you’re thinking about Monopoly). There’s nothing wrong with those games - most of them are great (except [bMonopoly[/b, of course; there’s plenty wrong there). But Gloomhaven is nothing like those. It’s in a world of its own, and it’s completely bonkers in all the best ways possible. Gloomhaven is a turn-based tactical RPG that rivals the best of its digital cousins - yes, X-COM (both old and new), Jagged Alliance (both old and new), Battle Brothers, Final Fantasy Tactics. If you like any of those, there is 95% chance you will love Gloomhaven. It feels entirely at home on Steam, and you can even argue that it’s better here than as a board game. The board game itself is insanely ambitious and feels like an analog computer game. The box weighs as much as a toddler, it takes at least a day to go through the rules and learn them decently, and one scenario alone can take an hour to set up. For a board game, these can be quite the obstacles, but on digital none of them exist. Scenarios load in seconds, and the tutorials are great. The heart of the game is its combat system. It’s familiar, yet it can throw you for a loop. I could describe it here, but it wouldn’t do it justice - you really need to get a feel for it. It might take a bit to wrap your head around, but once it clicks, you’ll realize that every turn forces you to make interesting decisions whose consequences echo far ahead. Even picking up loot from a slain monster is a meaningful choice, and at first you might wonder why it even is a choice. Trust me, it will make sense. Gloomhaven is designed as a cooperative game. Still, you can absolutely play it solo, and it’s a great journey. But it shines even brighter in co-op. It has this theme of your characters not being heroes, but mercenaries. You rely on each other and cooperate, but there are mechanics that encourage a bit of selfish, thematically appropriate behavior. It’s a small touch that adds just enough spice to keep every scenario interesting. Something else that may surprise you is the story and world-building.Gloomhaven presents a really interesting fantasy world - familiar, but full of twists that play with your expectations. Imagine a mix of high fantasy and western vibes. The story is surprisingly engaging, with meaningful choices and mutually exclusive paths. I see a lot of people complain about networking issues since the update that aligned the game with the console release. I’ve played with a lot of different friends, both locally and abroad, and yes - we’ve had our share of desyncs, drops, or certain players being unable to host. But I can tell you that 95% of the time you’ll be totally fine. For us, so far every issue has been solved by reconnecting a few times (it’s turn-based, so it’s not a big deal) or by switching hosts. It can be annoying, sure, but for me it’s nothing compared to the countless times the game has surprised me or we’ve won or lost a scenario on the very last turn - and all of that easily makes up for it.
The game is infested with various EOS(Epic Online Services)-related files. The game can't even reach the main menu without at least the following files being present: com.Epic.OnlineServices.dll com.playeveryware.eos.dll com.playeveryware.eos.core.dll EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll and EOS folder. So, if we want to play even just offline singleplayer, we are required to accept those files running. This is actually very rare behaviour as most games let you remove them, and those games will still work just fine.
The game itself is quite fun and challenging. However the amount of game crashes, esp in Co-op play are really annoying. I dont want to know how many hours we lost due to the crashes
I like the game but it constantly disconnects in multiplayer :/
This is an excellent game in almost every aspect, even the ambient music is nice to have on in the background whilst studying - BE WARNED HOWEVER that you'll want to purchase the boardgame after playing this for roughly the cost of one kidney, and itll take sixty thousand years to set up and play through. Its all very good, but its all very addictive. Good thing I dont have kids.
