This is an interactive team play game. We could escape from the dragon. But unable to walk away from the suffering friends, we finally decided to return to the dungeon to save them all. Deep in the darkest shadows of the dungeon, we must put our powers together to rescue our friends…
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

The controls for the computer are literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You feel like you're constantly sliding on ice, it's so so so bad. The concept of the game looks fun, the computer controls and feel of the character walking, not so much.

"GLIM" is a mediocre 2-player co-op action game where you and another player (ha, there are no other players and if you ask your friends to play junk like this you soon won't have any) do some top down minigames and action/shooting/etc with a goal to "rescue your friends" from some pointless retro 2D dungeon. It really is a boring plod through a near-minimalist retro 2D hellscape. Also there's a gimmick where you die if you get too far from your "buddy". At least it's not completely pixelcrap. But it is close. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 30 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
