Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 26 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Another fireproof game, another masterpiece. It makes VR feels real. Thank you.
This is the kind of game that makes me wish steam had a setting between thumbs up or down as well. It's a really short experience, about 3-4 hours, and the first hour or so is a pretty bad start - and then the game turns around and shows how interesting VR puzzles can be, although the difficulty stays fairly low throughout. This game is clearly made to run on a Quest, but looks fine despite that. You'll mostly notice it from the very small and linear areas, and it's lack of physics or interactivity in general, though you could argue that it's actually helpful for a puzzle game. The story is nothing to write home about, very generic, and with a very obvious ending, though it doesn't detract from the game either - except for the fact that when dialogue happens you are usually bound to a small area with nothing to do except listen.

Dommage !
A high-quality game that leaves you wanting more.
Be aware that this is a short game, even by the room standards. Given the quality of it i'd still have to lean somewhat positive and say that I'd rate it about 6/10. Lemme list what I thought was good and what I thought was not so good. the good characters and character animation. I’m used to VR having some janky looking character models as well as janky animation, but here it’s all really good, sure the lipsync could use some work (almost always can), but for a VR game it’s surprisingly good. location variety Just like in Fireproofs earlier games the variety of locations is pretty good. Personally i wouldn’t have minded maybe one less stone corridor, but it’s decent enough given the games length The setting Occult witches in 80s Britain was a pretty good idea for a setting, and I do think it holds all the way through. It also works as an explanation for some of the more “magical puzzles”. And for those interested there are some easter eggs related to Fireproofs “The Room” series. the bad Lack of interactivity I fully understand that this is a puzzle game and that they need to somewhat clearly indicate what you can and cannot use. but everything not tied to a puzzle being naked solid to the floors and desks broke my immersion immensely. The game will also oftentimes lock you into an area while dialogue is happening, and not having things to faff about during these sequences is downright criminal. look to the vortigaunt section of half-life alyx for an example of a longer dialogue sequence where the player is provided with things to prod, toss and play around with. The game is also inconsistent about what is and isn’t interactable. for most of the game you cannot open drawers or cupboards, until you get to a later part of the game where that is mandatory, i think they would have needed to signpost this clearer, or simply avoided drawers and such if they weren't gonna be interactable. Texture resolution. Don’t get me wrong here, the game is not at all ugly. But you can clearly see that it was made to run on the meta quest as well. I won't fault them too much for this, since that does put some rather heavy restraints on what can be done, and the game still looks miles above most other VR games around, I simply expected somewhat more for a PCVR version. The “the room” series doesn't always have the highest texture resolution either, but since you are locked in place there you can only ever look at the textures from the intended distance. Difficulty I said this in my previous review for Fireproof's “The Room 4” and I'll say it again here. I think the game would benefit from a slightly higher level of difficulty, and if they don’t want to put it on the main path, then at least some harder optional challenges. For me this is one of the easier puzzle games I've done, and most puzzles have very clearly signposted solutions, and for those that don’t you can usually understand the puzzle very quickly by just fidgeting about. They have the same Hint system in this one as in their previous games, and just as with those i will praise them for including it, as i think all puzzlegames should have one. Length This is what will be the big stickler for most people, as the game is very much on the shorter side, i played though it in two sittings (mostly cause i had to go do other stuff), but for me it took me a total of 3, 3hours to get to the end, so i could have easily finished it in one sitting. To summarize. For the standard asking price of 25 euros I wouldn't say it’s overpriced, but I would still say it’s a hard sell. If you've already forked over cash for an expensive vr headset, this is a good experience, but i’d never pick it over other vr classics, like boneworks, half-life alyx, H3, or similar. for 10 euros i’d say it’s worth it though if you like puzzle games, but it’s also competing with cyan studios vr works in myst, riven, obduction and firmament so i’d still say get it on sale.
Amazing. You Will say WOW a lot.
Great VR game. Such a shame there aren't many more like this
I'm really enjoying this game. It’s refreshing to see a solid VR developer putting out quality experiences. The visuals and storytelling are both excellent. Picked it up on a whim and I’m so glad I did.
Great atmosphere. Not too long. Quite easy
Another excellent game from Fireproof Games, the makers of The Room VR. Ghost Town had puzzles that hit the sweet spot, not so hard that you needed outside help (there is the ability to use in-game hints), but not so easy as to make it useless. The game was beautifully done and immersive, so much so that there were definitely some creepy vibes at times (dark unknown tunnels, hallways, etc). I look forward to their next game and will buy it immediately whenever it becomes available.
