Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 20 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

E bu bildiğin Junji Ito
I didn’t play Ghost in the Pool before the remaster, so I can’t compare it to the original—but the remastered version is a seriously solid visual novel. From start to finish, I was really into it. The art style fits the vibe perfectly, and the visual and sound effects do a nice job of pulling you into the story. The horror stuff works surprisingly well too—not over-the-top, but definitely creepy in all the right ways. There are multiple paths and endings, and the game makes it super easy to jump back to specific points with its checkpoint and timeline system. That alone made exploring all the choices feel smooth and rewarding. The horror in this VN is where it truly shines—some of the disturbing visuals reminded me of Junji Ito’s work, which is high praise. It had me on edge the whole time, and I loved every second of it. Honestly, the only downside is that there’s no skip button for scenes you’ve already read, so you’ll have to click through them manually if you’re replaying. That said, there is an auto mode, so it’s not a deal breaker at all. For the price, this game is 100% worth it. If you’re into horror VNs or just want something eerie and engaging, Ghost in the Pool should absolutely be on your list.

Brief yet well written horror story in junji ito style. To the point of almost being a knock off. Main flaw would be backtracking mid game, clearly a filler could have been executed better but can't complain given it's a tiny project. For this price it's all good
画风是主要卖点,不太恐怖,猎奇感还是不错的,这个价位也匹配流程长度,作为一个小品游戏比较令人满意 不过中结局是 真 差结局 差结局是 真 好结局 好结局是 ???结局,还是蛮有意思的
The art in the game is great, but it lacks in everything else. The translation is really poor and makes everything sound really awkward and unnatural and even hard to understand at times. The game play is pretty minimal, choices are pretty obvious and the point and click scenes are somewhat pointless. Story was very basic, and everything else on top of it made it hard to get into.
Cool short horror visual novel.
EDIT: My review is from before the recent overhaul, so my criticisms may have been addressed. I'll need to revisit this later
It's a fun, albeit janky, little horror visual novel.
It's a Chinese visual novel that has obvious Junji Ito inspirations. Overall, the game is short, with the first route being around 45 minutes to an hour, and the other routes being shorter because you can jump to decision points. The story is pretty fun and the art is nice, but the whole thing is kind of janky. Given the jankyness and length, you might want to wait for a sale, but I did enjoy it enough to want to check out the sequel.
Pros:

Great art and decent short horror story.
After clearing the game, there's a route chart to help you see the other scenes.
I found it hilarious that one of the routes is just saying "nope" and walking away every time you see something supernatural.

Cons:

The game's systems are surprisingly lacking. No manual saves. No control over message speed. No skipping. Given the length of the game, it's minor, but it's weird to play a VN that has less features than something built in Ren'py.
The game absolutely needs LQA. The script is understandable, but formatting is weird or ugly in places. There are typos. There are inconsistencies. It's kind of distracting and adds to the amateur feel of the game.
