Game is PEAK tho needs more content excided for the future
I truly thinks it works like a charm ! The gameplay loops works wonder. It justs needs more musics, enemy and terrain types, a bit of lore, like starting with a page and finding others in the neighboriing chests, and I'll be happy to recommand you !
every now and then I search Steam's free games and sometimes I find a diamond or two in the pile of low quality first games and slop, this is one of those gems. while this is a simple top down tower defense with resource gathering, there is one thing that caught my eye with this game: it looks inspired by a game I used to play as a kid called Zombz.io. no idea if Geode actually is inspired by a browser game I would play in school instead of doing assignments, but it does feel at least somewhat similar at least with the enemy AI and base building, either way if you are looking for a good free game like I was or wanna scratch that itch from Zombz.io like I did, this is the one as for the developer, I look forward to see this game grow, hope to see new maps, new enemies, new towers, great work

Good but needs more crafting recipes
Feedback not formatted..... Format this feedback dirtbag. Game has potential but falls VERY short. Lack of towers, weapons and upgrades are just the start. You have limited space to build, and because of this there are no options to get around the real gamebreaker. once night 15ish comes, even on normal, with upgrades and buff orbs, enemies will attack your outer walls and damage everything behind the wall before the wall is destroyed. 3 orbs healing and health buffs and the towers get destroyed while the wall in front of it is STILL STANDING. Id say I would change my review if this gets fixed but its lacking too much to try again without a big update. best of luck in the future to the dev(s).
It's so chaotic with friends ngl but it's genuinely funny
Prosto do opanowanio szpiela, nie najgorszo ale i tez nie majstersztyk. z nudów idzie klepnąć.
If you think GEODE is just a peaceful walking simulator where you look at pretty rocks, you are about to get a massive reality check. It’s an addictive mix of isometric survival and strategic base defense where your primary life goal is to protect a giant glowing crystal from hordes of angry monsters. Here is the actual, factual breakdown of the gameplay experience: ☀️ Day phase: You explore the map, hoard resources like a goblin, craft better gear, and prepare your defenses. You feel like a genius builder. You tell your friends: "Don't worry, our base is completely unbreachable." 🌙 Night phase: The horde arrives. There are no high-tech automatic lasers here. You have to rely on your own crafted weapons, smart pathfinding walls, and your trusty Bow Towers to rain arrows down on the enemies. If a wall breaks, it’s pure panic. 📋 THE ACCURATE GEODE CHECKLIST: [x] Satisfying Grind: Mining and refining resources feels incredibly rewarding. [x] Tower Defense (The Old School Way): Setting up Bow Towers and traps to bottleneck the monsters feels amazing when your strategy actually works. [x] 8-Player Co-op: Absolute chaos. It quickly goes from "highly coordinated tactical squad" to "everyone screaming and accidentally blocking each other's arrows." [x] Time Management: Brutal. If you spend too much time chasing butterflies during the day instead of upgrading your gear and towers, Night 3 will completely humble you. Pros: ➕ The gameplay loop of daytime scavenging and nighttime defending is dangerously addictive. ➕ Combat and tower placement require actual thought and strategy. ➕ The multiplayer scaling makes it a top-tier game to play with friends. Cons: ➖ Watching your poorly placed Bow Tower miss the fastest enemies while your walls crumble. 💀 Final Verdict: It's charming, it's intense, and it actually forces you to play smart. If you love survival games with great base-defense mechanics, this is a massive hidden gem. Grab some friends, build some Bow Towers, and protect that crystal! If this review gave you an accurate picture of the game (and reminded you to build your Bow Towers), please drop a Steam Award! I am currently hoarding Steam Points to buy cool startup movie. Your contribution to the community is highly appreciated! 🤝
