Genetic Disaster

This game is a disaster. Genetic Mutations are random drops in the game and I never encountered even 1 of them in over 2 hours of play. Maybe should have made it guaranteed to get one during the first run or something? Spinning robot bird thing charges into you and stuns both you and itself. You have to mash E on the keyboard or A on the controller to break the stun. Sometimes the bird doesn't stun itself and you just get perma stunned until you die... Rooms lock when you enter a boss room or various challenge rooms. Sometimes these rooms fail to register that they have been completed and you get locked in and have to quit the game...

Just play Enter the Gungeon. This game feels like a water down version of Enter the Gungeon to me. I think the class system is cool and playing with friends would probably up the fun factor but I feel like it's going to be hard to sell your friends on this game. I'm not saying its just straight up a bad game though, I'm just saying the experience I would get from this game is better experienced in other games such as EtG and Binding of Isaac. #TKReviews

雙搖桿射擊跟Rogue-like是我最喜歡的遊戲類型之一 但這款我真的無法恭維 手繪的美術風格在同類型遊戲中相當罕見 看起來相當舒服 而以四種動物當遊玩角色的設定也很可愛 雖然槍枝種類數量比不上前進槍牢 但也不少 然而最大的缺點在於內容跟平衡性 遊戲很明顯主打多人合作 單人模式下根本是在整人 除了分散在4個角色上的特殊技能外 並沒有像傳統Rogue-like一樣 藉由取得不同的聖物擴增角色新的能力 加上槍枝數量跟火力完全無法跟敵人相抗衡 種種因素加在一起 變成每一輪的遊戲體驗幾乎一樣 落入拚低容錯率的無限循環 相當無趣=_= 除非有朋友多人同樂 單人遊玩完全不推薦

Genetic Disaster is a great couch game. Especially if you're looking for a game to spend time cooperating (or betraying) your friends. The different characters are well rounded with each their specificities. There are a lot of cool weapons to discover and play with. I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs tho I did have a few minor audio issues. I would recommend this game if you're looking to have fun with your friends !

Стиль и задумка игры довольно хорошая. Супер-хардкор только тут, куча багов и не доработок. Если играете с человеком, то после завершения матча его выкидывает из лобби. Нормальный интернет, побили свой рекорд и тут: Team has disband (хотя интернет нормальный). Камера летает где-то там, уровни генерируется прямо во время игры. Один раз стали бессмертными.

NEW REVIEW: The developers patched the game less than 12 hours after I wrote the original review. I'll leave it to show you what I'm referencing. They finally added an options menu. It was needed, and I'm very glad they did that. However, it lacks polish. The buttons "stick" and the sound effects for some of the buttons aren't even the same volume. Small details, but I had to mention it. As for the game, I didn't experience any gamebreaking bugs like I did the first time I played it, but I played it solo. It was much more enjoyable. The weapons seem a bit "samey" though. I never truly felt like I had a different weapon like Gungeon does well except when I got the flame weapon. It felt unique. If you're looking for a more simplistic version of Gungeon that actually has multiplayer, pick this one up. Hopefully the devs will continue to polish the game. I wish them all the best. [OLD REVIEW: I wanted to give this game a positive rating because I like the type of game it is (multiplayer Gungeon, essentially), but I simply cannot. This is a game that was pushed out of Early Access way too soon. My YouTube partner and I couldn't scrounge up enough footage to show it off because of gamebreaking bugs. It would not load for player 2 half the time. When it did work, there'd be moments where player 2 would be unable to shoot anything forcing him to die.
