Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

We need MORE two-dimensional metroidvanias like this. I enjoyed this far more than the crap that passes for "Triple A" these days. A hidden gem.
It was an ok game, the art wasn't that interesting nor creative, gameplay and controls were playable but nothing that fun. I 100% all achievements and it disapointed me.
A very good retro platformer where you get to play as a cat. Looks good, sounds good and plays good.

Gato Roboto is a neat, light metroidvania where you control a cat that frequently enters an upgradeable mech suit. It has a mixture of exploration, platforming, and combat. It’s enjoyable, but not mind-blowing in any aspect. The graphics are simple, and the music is forgettable. But the story is alright, there’s enough variety in the different maps, and the boss battles were pretty cool. But for a shorter, simpler metroidvania that can be beaten in a single session, I can recommend it on sale, even if the base price already reflects its length.
This is like Blaster Master Zero where you have your tank (in this game a mech) and you can get out and do some stuff where your mech won’t fit. For $8 or on sale it’s not a bad few hours. A nice little really short game but there are a bunch of problems, mostly bugs. -no controller mapping. I always set attack to trigger instead of X cause I’m weird. I had to go into Steam Input to set it. The keyboard remapping is so strange. You have to set every key you can’t just pick on to change. -if your screen is higher than 60 Hz then the game is stuck at 35-40 FPS. Sure whatever I can deal with it in this game. -There is a lag problem that some people get and the game runs slow. For the first hour I thought the really clunky slow controls was part of the game. While I was trying to fix the FPS (never did) I saw “go to the GatoRoboto.exe -> right click properties -> compatibility tab -> check “disable fullscreen optimization”” that didn’t fix the FPS but the game stopped feeling like it was constantly lagging. -Why is the game screen so small? There’s a lot of extra space around the game with the border. Even with heath and some stuff on the outside there’s still a lot of room. -enemies don’t drop anything so unless they are in the way there’s no reason to fight them. I started to run past anything not blocking me. The missiles you get early on overheat after using two and cool down after 5 seconds. You don’t have to worry about running out like in Metroid and other games. Other than some technical problems I thought it was a fine 5/10 game. There were some mildly annoying parts but nothing too bad.
Simples e curto, mas divertidíssimo. Valeu cada centavo.
Fantastic tight little game. Does exactly what it sets out to. Will write full review shortly.
