Reviews
its a great game as long as you like long games for 4X and its fun a lot of custom options to make your factions if you cant create stuff like me then mods lots of mods
Having played the previous releases of this game, I-III, i can say that this is a nice continuation of the franchise. If you played and enjoyed the previous titles, this is highly recomended. If you enjoy a good turn-based 4x game than this is perfect for you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's getting good at 25.0 with my 1st game for GalCiv 4. Was feeling samey and clunky, but now I barely notice the huge UI.

Spiele dieses Spiel seit der ersten Version. Habe GC IV gerade erst begonnen, weil ich bisher immer noch GC III gespielt habe. Dieses Spiel ist für rundenbasierte Strategiespieler ein Muss.
Amazing game my kinda civ game
Much more complex than Galactic Civilizations III (which was already complex), GC4 boasts a well thought-out schema for advancing your civilization, crazy replayability, a beautiful interface and pretty much everything you would expect or want in a grand strategy game. You can customize civilization traits and abilities without throwing balance in a kilter. The DLCs add a new dimension and variety of random events. My complaints are: 1) if playing multiplayer, there is no way to do your moves simultaneously, 2) there is no way (that I have found) to selectively turn off DLCs once you buy them, and 3) there isn't a good way to view the tech tree (that I have found) (GC3 had a tech tree viewer).
I want to support the authors, so thumbs up.
