Furious Angels

Unfortunately, I have to give this game a thumbs down. As much as I want to like it, it simply isn't very well designed. A careless mashup of elements that don't really fit together, especially an annoying tank "upgrade" that is forced on the player that more often than not ruins a combo streak (because for whatever reason the combo timer doesn't pause during the "upgrade" process). Normally, I wouldn't be so willing to give an indie-game made by a solo-dev a negative review, but because it seems unlikely they will return to this game again, the issues with it will likely persist. Other missing but much-needed QoL features include: - Mothership beacon/arrow to indicate direction of mothership - Distance indicators for arrow(s) (e.g. arrow size indicates how far target is from player) - Tank ejection/self-destruct option (as the tank is very slow, making it much harder to protect the mothership) - Persistent/ever-present score, combo-multiplier, and needed number of kills to next upgrade indicators

great fun quick game

Brilliant graphics and really good gameplay, unfortunatly the developer decided to change the zoom out in the game so it became unplauable

ALL THE RIGHT STUFF......do you have the skills to be #1 on the daily leader board? i have had this game along time, i have played it off an on, found it enjoyable, but difficult....not hard to play, .....hard to survive, rounds can end quite quickly, and suddenly, and actually you will die often, and fast, trying to get that top score. your a single fighter craft defending your defenceless mother ship through waves of various enemy combatants whose sole purpose is to either kill you, or your mother ship, it just progressively gets harder and harder, with more and more enemy ships approaching you and your mother ship, getting different ship/weapon upgrades along the way. great game, love it, playing on pc was great...also playing on steam deck, seems to be my favorite lately. but ya, an absolute must have game, very small storage wise, 91 MB installed. get it on sale. Endless fun, and frustration. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- 9/10 ...ONLY CAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!
